If it exists, why wouldn't one want it? Even with a universal desire, the ability to generate a single effect that eliminates obstacles must be desired. Therefore, if only those things that are different from others can generate such knowledge, what use is universality? If one cannot understand things as they are, without confusing the distinctions, then why? Due to the power of ignorance, conceptualizations do not have this ability. It is not only by relying on external objects that illusions arise, but also from internal defilements, just like having illusions about hair, etc. If being defiled is because it arises from ignorance, then eyes, etc., should also be considered defiled, but this is not the case, because their characteristic is the absence of conceptualization. Conceptualization itself is ignorance, because it is inherently inverted. Sensory consciousnesses are not such conceptualizations. Or, for them, there is no fault in this, because the non-dual appears as dual. This should be said. Even if everything is false, the establishment of valid cognition and the appearance within it is not transformed into reality, but it is still functional and able to fulfill desires. Even if it is erroneous, it is in accordance with complete pacification, just like having cognition of mother, etc. Just like perceiving a mirage as water. Although there is no difference between arising from different things and illusion, because it arises from being able to accomplish the desired purpose and not being able to accomplish it, it is able to achieve the goal, while the other is not. If one asks how it arises from what cannot accomplish the purpose, it is because conceptualizations are not necessarily related to things, so conceptualizations themselves do not arise as they are. If one sees a mirage, one will be mistaken for water, so it is said to arise from that, but in reality, it is not because it is generated by establishing the self-nature of things separate from the meaning of non-water, but by relying on one's own pure habitual tendencies and conditions, without eliminating the distinction of characteristics. Therefore, the conceptualization of illusion arises from different things, and one is able to recognize from illusion, "This is it."

It is not so from seeing the difference. It is also not without difference, because there is no following as in exclusion. Furthermore, according to others, that mind is, from the only generality. It is not reasonable for others to say that this mind arises from only generality, if there is always only that, then consciousness, it will become not understanding exclusion, because there is this fault. If at that time, at any time, not grasping the relationship of having it, if it cannot be determined to have it, then how to establish a name? When the consciousness holding the generality does not approach the differences as objects, at any time not grasping those relationships, so this is only the generality of this. This is having it, and it will not become like this. If it is like this, then understanding it will not enter into having it, just like other meanings. If it is said that difference is a help of a thing, is the cause of understanding, if it is thought like this, difference is the cause of the object of its object, and the only one is not, when these have a common function, then hold it together with it, if you think like this, does that thing eliminate their difference? Or is difference the cause of them not producing a consciousness? If many also rely on one, producing a non-different consciousness, then it cannot be said that because of difference, many do not produce a consciousness, because difference is not contradictory to production. Then what is it? Separation is contradictory, so only together with one can produce, if it is like this, then, even without each of them, that one can also produce, because for the mind, they have no ability, so the mind does not hold. This is understood like this, for that consciousness, understanding the ability of exclusion, because without each of them, it also exists, without generality it does not exist, otherwise it does not exist. This has no fault, how?
