It does not depend on co-existence itself. The result depends on other conditions, so if it is thought that it is not merely from co-existence, then, even so, how can it be said that it is only the producer, and the result does not arise from it? This contradicts the situation. If it is said that it is not merely the producer, then, how can it now be said that it is the nature of unintentional production? Has it not been fully shown that it is "only the producer"? If this is only the ability, even if the result depends on others, how can it remain neutral? It will clearly arise without being confused with others. In that case, it is showing its own ability. Saying that the result depends on others is saying that it does not arise merely from it; and saying that this is merely the nature of ability is saying that it arises from it. How can these become one? Therefore, this person who is struck by the sting of jealousy will only become dissolute and complain, and should be ignored. Therefore, the co-operator of the characteristic of producing one is only momentary things, not non-momentary, individually existing, sentient beings, because individual production is possible, so it is impossible to determine as a co-operator. Wherever things are shown as conditions by continuous help, for example, rice and seedlings arise from rice and seeds, etc., for fire, water, and earth, etc., when differences arise depending on the cause, it is said to be the co-operation of conditions, not depending on matter, because momentary matter does not produce differences. If rice, etc., and fire, etc., do not gradually produce differences in nature, then rice, etc., will not be completed, or the senses entering a dark room from light, if continuous differences cannot arise from their own help, the understanding of meaning will not arise. The senses, etc., that produce without obstruction, have no difference from each other, because there, how is the nature of the support of approaching each other, etc.

Because those produced, abiding in suitable places such as conditions, are established as being of the same nature simultaneously. Knowing as a condition of knowledge, only that which performs one function is indeed a simultaneous agent. Where simultaneous agents produce distinctions and are of the nature of conditions, there, the continuum of causes depends on conditions, and it is said that a different nature is obtained from that. In that case, if the earlier moment of causes and conditions ceases by its own nature, then because a distinct moment arises from those alone, gradually transformed and possessing distinctions arises from the final collection of causes to the result. The result that quickly arises from a cause that has truly arisen from a simultaneous agent cannot occur as a distinction itself. If a distinction arises from what is not distinct, then the result also changes, because a simultaneous agent can produce a result even without depending on the mutual arising of distinctions. Therefore, those that are not momentary and do not depend on simultaneous agents also become causes, and there is no arising of a distinct nature from those that are to be depended upon. However, even if a distinction arises, only the distinction made by the simultaneous agent remains close, and in that case, it becomes endless. By what means are simultaneous agents always connected with the distinctions made by each other, and the arising of results from each other, and the constant abiding of what is capable of producing harmonious distinctions? It is not so, because the clear and separate results of their existence and non-existence are seen. Therefore, if it is said that the first distinction is not favored by the simultaneous agents, it is not reasonable. I have no weariness in speaking again and again, but even if it is so, I should still speak as the world understands the reason. By what means do simultaneous agents not become simultaneous agents in producing distinctions because of their absence? It is also not the case that only by producing distinctions is there a simultaneous arising. What is it then? It is also by doing one thing. If there is no distinction from each other, then that is also absent. But if it exists, then it also changes for each one. In that case, the distinction arises from that.
