It is also meaningless to talk about going everywhere. Therefore, the existence of the other is not proof of the non-existence of things. If there is an opposite relationship, therefore, can the non-existence of things be proven from the existence of the other? What is opposite to what? Is it opposite to the existence of the other? What can make the sign and the signed thing become an opposite relationship, do you want to measure the opposition? The non-existence of things is not contradictory to the existence of the opposite vase, because they exist together. For that measurable thing, how are the sign and the signed thing opposite? Therefore, there is no relationship. For this, it is not to be universally proven, but is on the edge of ease. If it does not exist, and the existence of the other has no relationship, even if the existence of the other is recognized, will it not be recognized? It is not thought that from any relationship, the existence of the other will make one know the non-existence, however, the existence of the other itself is non-existence, as said before. The only self-nature that has no relationship with the other, exists alone, completely determining that it is its self-nature, because determining the other is determining other things. Uniqueness itself is separated from the other, therefore, the thing that exists outside of it is itself non-existence, and the thing that is recognized outside of it is called recognizing non-existence. If it is not so, if determining cannot determine other things outside of it, then it itself will not become determining, because there is no distinction between its self-nature and its non-self-nature. In some cases, what is the term for obtaining after seeing something, and for things that should be completely abandoned, it will not become that, even if you see fire, it will not start because someone seeks water, because fire is not the only one. If it is recognized that there is no water because it is not seen, then what does the word not seen mean? If it is said that water is not seen, then how can something that does not exist recognize something, or become the cause of recognition? And how is it recognized? If nothing is recognized, whether it is it or something else outside of it, then in situations such as sleeping, being drunk, fainting, falling, and turning away, why is the non-existence of things not recognized? Furthermore, the classification of valid cognition has been studied. Therefore, even if this person does not see it, this is fire.

Because one does not know to say, "This is not water," one does not stay, nor does one go forward. Therefore, one falls into a difficult-to-cross situation. If merely by seeing one, one realizes that there is no other, then how does one realize that there is no other by seeing one? If it is said that it is because one sees only one, then, when I say this, why do you show as if you are not satisfied with this? Therefore, like a bird that has not seen the shore, even if it goes far, it must return, so it is sufficient to establish a position that cannot determine the depth. If, in that way, merely by completely determining one, the determination of others is accomplished, then, without distinction, all others will be established as non-existent. Therefore, it is not necessary to say that the wisdom that has become an object of focus, merely abiding in the allowable sameness, is the difference of the establishment of a non-object, because there, those that have not been established as objects of focus are also determined. Determining its own nature as one is the determination of the nature other than that, because one knows that its own nature necessarily appears. Its own nature is not a nature other than that. If the nature of others is not determined, since there is no entering and returning, it will become the previous fault. When one is certain of place, time, essence, and state, when one focuses on its own nature with wisdom, one cuts off the non-thatness of this. If the object of others is determined, then, just as the face is completely determined by it, that is only its own, not of others, because determining what has become other is itself complete determination. Therefore, the establishment of one valid cognition is what makes all things be distinctly placed into two categories, because that is only the cause of the mind that follows and returns, and is itself possessed of a result. By determining all that is not apart from that, merely establishing pervasion, it is established that there is no other way. If it is not pervaded by the very otherness from that, since it has not determined that thing, it will also become that the thing has not been completely determined. Therefore, the action of valid cognition is that when valid cognition is established on something, that is completely
