Now, if a non-different nature arises from what is different, then from the difference and non-difference of causes, the difference and non-difference of effects would not be non-different. All difference and non-difference would become without cause, for example, from difference arises non-difference, and from non-difference also arises non-difference. Apart from that, there is no nature of things at all, because things are not without cause, so they would become either permanent or non-existent, because there is no dependence. Things are occasional because of dependence. For things to be proven, the establishment and possession of proof as an approximation would also be impossible. If the power of causes is determined separately, then one would be considered to prove another, but not the other. Because only that has the power for that, and the other does not have the power, because those two are different by the nature of the producer and one. If that also arises from the nature of that producer and a non-identical nature, then if that can produce that, since there is no certainty, anything is possible, and it will arise from anything. If the ability to produce is the same, then since that is that, the confusion of the cause of the effect is not seen. That which becomes the object of cognition as the unobservable is the reason for imputing terms to non-existent things. In that case, if the object is the dharma that cognizes, then its knowledge is the object. Because it is different from the object one wants to express. The object other than that is the non-object, like entering in a non-way, like the inedible and the untouchable. If it is the nature of what is to be cognized, then the object is the nature of the object, having the characteristic of being able to generate knowledge of its own object, because the ability is the nature of things. Other than that, only what is able to be an object is the non-object, just like before. Because there is no difference in the ability. Wherever something is cognized, whatever necessarily becomes the object, that is related to that, because it is related to one knowledge. If those two exist, then one nature does not necessarily belong, because it is impossible. Therefore, here, otherness is ability.

Those with the nature of non-difference, knowledge, and related entities are considered to be merely mutually dependent. Solely because it is other by depending on that, therefore, recognizing its own nature, or the characteristic of a knowable dharma, is invisibility. That is accompanied by the non-existent, or establishing the naming of the non-existent. How can the other, which exists, be non-existent? By what does the invisibility of the nature of the non-existent establish the naming of the non-existent? Here, it has already been explained that the non-existent and the invisible are invisible by relying on how it does not apply. Because that has not been established. Because naming with the non-existent would become the fault of not being established. Because the existence of an unrelated nature is established, the non-existence of the other is also established. Therefore, the existence of the other is also not its non-existence, thus it is named. If the non-existence of the characteristic of the existence of the other is established by its own measure, or if it is established, thereby establishing its non-existence, there is no difference in establishing the naming with the non-existent, then by what invisibility would it become contradictory to establish the naming with the non-existent? Why is the existence of the other itself and its object-possessing part not the establishment of the non-existent? Why should it be said that the establishment of the existence of the other itself is the establishment of its non-existence? Because they are not established separately, and there is no connection. For the time being, the existence of the other is not an establishment. If something is established, then what is not established is its sign, like fire and smoke. Merely by establishing the existence of the other, its non-existence is established, because only by the measure that distinguishes and establishes the nature that is different from it and unrelated, the distinction of the other is established. If there is no connection, and it is its sign, then there would be some connection between it and that, for example, being made and impermanence are equivalent to one meaning, or sign and meaning are equivalent to one meaning, or as a dependent and a support, or as something to be produced and something that produces. For existing and non-existing things, by what explanation would such an establishing connection become?
