If such meaning is not remembered, even for those obscured by sleep, conceptualization with the aspect of remembering what has been experienced will arise. But for those that appear as such, there is no memory. Therefore, obscuration or other conceptualizations do not make it clear, but what appears clearly is precisely the absence of conceptualization. So, because there is no conceptualization, does the consciousness of dreams that appear clearly become direct perception? No, because it has been explained as "not deceptive." Therefore, Because conceptualization, reality does not appear, Near obscuration, is deceptive, Like direct perception, it is said to be twofold. Because direct perception is the appearance of things, if that is not present, then its appearance vanishes. As such, it has already been said. Conceptualization is not like that, because its appearance does not conform to things. Therefore, it is like direct perception. Near obscuration is also, even if it is born from the senses, because it is no different from others. Some near obscurations are also born from the senses, because there is no difference from others born from the senses. This also, because it is deceptive, does not appear to conform to things, so it is like direct perception. With this, the obscuration of the mind is also explained. Some say that illusions such as seeing two moons are not born from the senses. That is not so, because what is born from the senses follows existence and non-existence, abiding in its very nature, because this is also the same as that, and if the senses change, then it also changes, the reason for establishing it as a basis is only this much. If it is an illusion born from the mind, then like illusions of magic and so on, even if there is a transformation of the senses, there would be the fault of reversal, and similarly, even if there is a transformation of the senses, there would be the fault of reversal. Therefore, this illusion, even if it is born from the senses, is not direct perception. Therefore, in order to explain the meaning of showing with object-specific distinction and having distinction, it is separated from the category of conceptualization, the obscuration represented by cataracts appears.

It is said that this appears like three (moons). Furthermore, it is said that the subtle particles of the eyes, etc., are the cause of the consciousness that appears as two moons and blue, etc. So, what is the result of this valid cognition (pramana)? It is the realization of the object to be measured (prameya). Because that is knowledge, it is also the result. Now, what is valid cognition? From where, without interruption, the very realization of the object to be measured is accomplished. In this regard, what connects with the meaning of this, there is nothing that is not the nature of meaning. Therefore, through the realization of the object to be measured, valid cognition is the very nature of the object to be measured. Because what is to be proven is proven, it is not the accomplisher of all actions of all things, but rather from where what is accomplished. In this regard, merely in experience, the knowledge of the same nature for all actions, by what is this this, distinguishing from each action, it must become its nature. Even if it is not its nature, even if there are differences in the causes such as the senses and objects and contact, the knowledge without different natures for the differences in actions is not the one who definitely distinguishes, because that which performs is the reason for what is to be proven. Even if that is not different, that difference will not be established. Even if it exists, because it is not a part of that, it is not the doer of that. Therefore, from the difference of this nature, the realization of this is this, the determination of this action, the transformation here, that is the establisher. The meaning connection of knowledge, other than being the same as the meaning, is not possible. Even if the senses, etc., are the ones who distinguish by their own differences such as clarity and non-clarity, they are not the ones who connect with the meaning in that way, because there is no cause close to that. From the difference of the experience made by the meaning, from where does the realization transform, if it is not the same as the meaning, then how does it not show the nature of existence now? If it cannot indicate this is this, because there is no definite realization of this nature, this is this's, not this's, thus it is good to distinguish things.

English

It is established. Therefore, the knowable object, the establisher is the nature of the knowable object. If it is another establisher, it cannot be established if it is not related to its function. That is also its nature. Therefore, the result is not another meaning. Holding its nature is the function of the nature of understanding the meaning, appearing as if having a function. Even if oneself is not the doer, it is established there because of its power. This is called the intermediate verse. This abandons the encounter with the senses, as well as observing the meaning and special consciousness. Because the function and connection cannot be established from it. Because it is not without interruption. Because the agent has not been established as a special one. Even if all the agents approach the object to be established, this ultimate differentiating agent is the most excellent establisher. Even if there are senses and so on, but when there is no difference in each object, the differentiating agent here is the agent. The senses are the differentiators, because they are the cause of all consciousness. Observing the meaning is also not, because it is not its nature, because the observation of its meaning itself has not been established. Similarly, if the special consciousness does not differentiate the object, since there is no difference between the special consciousness and no difference, the establishment cannot be established, and the object to be established and the establisher are contradictory in terms of object. If there is no difference in object, then both are meaningless. If there is no difference in cause, then the sequential arising is also prevented. For simultaneous arising, the object to be established and the establisher themselves do not exist. The parts of consciousness depend on the establishment, therefore they are the objects to be established and the establisher. If the object to be established and the establisher are the same because there is no difference in things, therefore they are contradictory, it is not, because the difference of dharma has been promised. This term does not reside on things, even if things have no difference, the difference of establishment is seen because of the difference in ability. Encounter is also valid, even if it is the encounter of all natures, it is only understanding some dharmas.
