It is also for this reason. It is not without a basis either, because those related to form etc. are not seen when separated from the sense faculty that possesses that object. Moreover, it arises even when the sense faculty is not impaired and is situated nearby. It is also not without attention, because even when both are assembled, it is absent for those whose minds are disturbed by sleep etc. For the arising of consciousness, it is merely the collection of these causes. Therefore, when the self-nature of its result is determined by its own nature, happiness etc. are not of a nature without an object of focus. If you say that it is determined in conditioned phenomena, that is not so, because its power is not seen. If one were to assume other causes for what arises from just that, it would be too extreme. I understand that what is called conditioned phenomena is the preceding consciousness itself, which is suitable as a cause for consciousness. Because happiness etc. that arise from the internal operation itself follow the distinctions of consciousness such as habituation, distraction, and difference. If you say that because the cause is the same, there would be no difference in happiness etc., that is not so, because it is made by the internal difference of that collection itself, just like doubt and certainty etc. Others say that happiness etc. are not internal, nor are they sentient, but it is understood that one experiences it from experiencing sound etc. that have become its nature. According to that which is said, Even if external differences are absent, Joy and complete suffering, Because of the difference of habituation, Happiness etc. are not the nature of the object. Because, if happiness etc. were the nature of sound etc., then without difference, it would not change into the difference of joy and complete suffering from the difference of habituation, just like the difference in the appearance of blue etc. Those that are related to the difference of habituation without depending on its difference are the mind itself, just like wisdom etc. Because of experience, it is the nature of mind, Not mind, because not experience. These happiness etc. are also sentient, because they are also to be experienced. Because, whatever aspect of whatever object is not experienced,

That is not its experiencer. Just as there is no experience of happiness, etc., which are mutually without self-nature. The reason for the connection of saying "this is the experiencer of this" is obvious. The senses, etc., would also become faults, so its nature of experience is the same. If it was not its self-nature before, then its self-nature will not disappear later, so how can it be similar in the mind? This is another fault of it, without similarity there is no experience. Because having consciousness itself is not reasonable as its experiencer, because there is no difference to everything, so everything will become the fault of having consciousness. If it has similarity, then it is combined with the maker of similarity. The peaceful experience, this itself is our happiness, therefore happiness etc. are proven to be conscious. If because it is similar to the object, the experience is its self-nature, then will happiness etc. become not experiencers? No. Because in your sect, the experience of happiness etc. also exists, this is stated to show this meaning. There, happiness and complete suffering are seen as one experience in the heart. It is not reasonable to think that this is its self-nature and establish another establisher, because it is undifferentiated and established as difference. Having difference is because it is established as difference. Is having difference wisdom, not experience? What does the word wisdom mean? Is it so. What does the word experience mean? It is experience. What is the difference between these two? The meaning of having the image of an object is without experience, while the other is experience. If the similarity of no experience is the nature of wisdom, then similarity will also become other. If there is a difference, it must also be said. The inner author, etc., is also its reason, or because it is not a branch of realization, it should not be proclaimed, because other images with very clear differences exist. The separate establishment of objects is also ultimately experience, so how can it, without consciousness, separately establish meaning? Too much.
