However, even if they exist, there are no dharmas or things that possess dharmas. These relations are merely fabrications of the mind, as has already been explained in the Pramāṇavārttika. If relations are created by the mind, then what can prevent them even for non-existent things? Those things that have the names of 'is' and 'is not' do not necessarily prove the state of being existent, non-existent, or neither existent nor non-existent, and therefore they will not be held to be definitely one. Therefore, that which determines non-existence, in whatever way, should be said to be a measurable object. Having an object that is a thing is not a valid cognition, because the characteristic of a valid cognition is non-deception. If it does not harm its own object, then it establishes existence and non-existence as its essence. Therefore, because this has the characteristic of a valid cognition, non-existence is measurable. If, because everything exists in some way, nothing is non-existent, then in what way is that form of non-existence a non-existent thing? Because rabbits and horns exist, laughing at someone who says that a rabbit does not have horns is laughing at oneself. When it is said that there is no horn as a part of a rabbit, what is the point of answering that rabbits and horns also exist? What is being denied is not just the horn itself, but the connection with the rabbit. If that is the case, then is it not the horn that should be said to be unrelated? Do those who have horns have only a difference in relation to the horn, and not the nature of the substance? The nature is also different, because different fruits have different natures of causes. Therefore, where is the fault in saying, 'It should be said that there is no relation'? If the nature of the horns of those who have horns is different, and the nature of the horns of rabbits does not exist, then I also say the same. Or, the relation that should be denied because of non-existence is itself the non-existence of the thing. The way of saying that there is no relation to something that has a relation has also been examined. If the substance of the related thing that has been promised also does not exist, then the desired result is achieved. If this were said at the beginning, it would not cause confusion. Not confusing contradictions.

If it is said to be the cause of doubt, then it is not mentioned here, because the object of inference is impossible. As it is said, having the characteristics of nature and result, or invisibility, for invisibility, it is impossible to have no contradiction, and there is no other non-contradiction. Therefore, relying on the power of unseen things, relying on the inference based on the scriptures, when examining its meaning, it is said to be the fault of establishing non-contradiction. Because the authors of treatises may, due to confusion, show the nature of things upside down. How things exist, abiding as they are, is impossible for nature, result, and invisibility. To illustrate this, the general exists in all places, because it abides in all places, and is clearly related to things related to itself at the same time, like space. This is related to the nature of being related and subsequently related, and the nature of residing in its object itself. If something does not exist somewhere, then it is not the nature of that place, nor is it pervasive. If it is said that form, etc., does not exist in space, but is it not pervasive of the pot, etc., which is the object of that place? Let us put aside for the time being what are the objects and objects in combination and aggregation. The nature of being able to generate consciousness that appears as separate and non-separate is said to be dependent on worldly objects. For things that are established as different and not different, the relationship of combination and aggregation, etc., is a further establishment of the treatise. Therefore, for the thing that is only its own existence and is related to it, residing in its object, in order to establish this, the relationship with it itself is the reason. If it is said that even if it is said to pervade its own support, is it not also wanting to reside in its object? Therefore, what is unwanted? Because it is related to one without action, it was not there before, and it was not there before in other objects. When manifestation arises, it is impossible to be related to it. Therefore, being related to different objects at the same time cannot be established as not pervading all places. Therefore, being related to one, the object of one has not gone to other places, it is not its object, it did not exist before, and being clearly related to these is that
