Because it arises from the habits produced by the earth, it is called things, non-things, and the dharma of both, due to attachment to the appearance of manifestation. Therefore, for those who abide in that subject, is the meaning that appears from the main word a taker of things? Or not, thus thinking of existence and non-existence. To establish that it is not a taker of things, because it is self-cognizance of each, therefore it is not a meaning that should be abandoned, that is the subject. It cannot be said that the meaning is its own characteristic, because it does not turn back even for things that have not been obtained and have ceased, and because attachment to the appearance of inverted aspects of things also appears before the consciousness of other non-Buddhists. If one enters the ultimate truth, then the differences of other views, for the meanings, words will not enter without cause, and for the past and unborn, some words will not become false meanings. Therefore, these are considered to have mind as their object. These are verses of summary. So, how can it be established that it is not a taker of the nature of what is desired? Because there is such a non-dependent dharma, the dharma to be established is not unestablished. Here, the appearance of conceptual thought of words is also not close to the meaning itself, because it is adding words for the meaning established in the mind, and because it is not possible without it. Furthermore, for those who do not deny the meaning of words, the thing itself should be examined by the difference of existence and non-existence, because the production of the result depends on it. Whether the meaning of the word exists or not, for the meaning of the individual, it will not slightly diminish or achieve, because it is not true as it appears to be attached, and that truth

Therefore, it is unreasonable to engage in meaningless activities, just as those with desire would not focus on distinguishing the beauty and ugliness of eunuchs. If someone asks, what is the meaning of saying 'unobservable dharma'? It is because the object observed by the discriminating consciousness is only the meaning of words, and the fact that the dependent object is unobservable is its very nature. Saying that 'unobservable nature is included in the reason of nature' is valid, therefore, it is itself an example. Just as what is done to fear, it must rely solely on or merely demonstrate special distinctions. This has already been said. Regarding this, if the reason is existent nature, then how is existence not to be proven? If there is no concomitance of difference, then the reason and what is to be proven are contradictory. If the impermanence of existence or something else is the reason, then why not admit that it is also to be proven? If that is also to be proven, then it will become a differentiated thing. Difference cannot be proven because it has no concomitance. This is what is called, as it is said, because one does not understand the realm of valid cognition. Difference is not only contradictory to what is to be proven, but what if the reason also has the same fault? A reason without concomitance is not an established member, because it will cause doubt. If you say so, then this fault does not exist, like this: If only the difference of things is proven on the nature of the universal, then no meaning will be established, but there is no such obstacle. If existence is proven everywhere, then it is not proving difference. Because it is merely 'there are some dharmas' and the nature of the difference of things is not shown, there is no contradiction in merely 'there are some'. Here, temporarily preventing the establishment of existence is not the purpose, however, like saying 'there are some' without touching the contradictory difference here, then what increase will there be in one's own meaning? Therefore, what is to be proven must be grasped by difference.
