There are two aspects to being in harmony. The knowledge that arises immediately upon exertion is the result of impermanent sound. How is this to be understood? Because it is not reasonable for pre-existing knowledge to arise immediately after exertion, since there is no joining of effort with obstructions, senses, and sounds. Therefore, the obstruction aimed at it does not exist. Even if some obstruction exists, it is not possible to reverse its power without impairing its essence. If there is no difference arising in it, it is not called "doing a little." If it does not do a little, how can it be an obstruction or something else? If one thinks it is an obstruction, what difference do walls and the like create or damage to pots and the like? We do not say that they make any difference. However, every moment of the pot is the cause of all sensory knowledge. Because the objects, senses, and appearances that have become together mutually generate different moments, they are the cause of consciousness. Because it is not permissible to rely on what is not beneficial. If it is not like that, then the nature of power will always generate or not generate. Even those are mutually beneficial if another obstructing agent interferes, because they act together with those suitable objects of interference. If there is an interruption, because there is no cause, another moment of power will not arise, therefore, the consciousness of that object will not arise. If an interruption enters, the previously generated power will cease, and because there is no cause, the other power that is desired to arise will not arise, therefore, because the cause is incomplete, consciousness will not arise, so walls and the like are called obstructions, but not because they obstruct the possibility, because they do not change from their own nature. Alternatively, all moments of things may be able to help each other, because the power of causes and conditions is inconceivable, because they are not omniscient. Therefore, if the obstruction located between the senses and the object makes a great difference to the two that is inconsistent with generating consciousness, that is also possible.

Yes, because one hears the difference of obscurations, such as sounds, clearly and unclearly. If it were not so, then not doing anything at all to anything would be the same as being non-existent even if it exists. To gather closely by saying "this, this" will actually become a transformation by conceptualization, and it is not dependent on things. There is also no such thing as an action that follows imputation. Approximating with fire will not establish the example of the Brahmin boy. Therefore, even if there is conceptualization, it does not change the object, but remains as it is in its own nature. Therefore, even if there is obscuration, if the senses and so on can generate knowledge, it is not so. Therefore, it is understood that it is distinguished by it. Thus, if sounds are permanent, then if some exist, the distinction will disappear or not arise. Therefore, if they are of the nature of producing, then for all things, at all times, all knowledge with its own object will be produced, or if it is not so, then it is certain that nothing will ever be produced for anything. One might think that obscuration does not always prevent hearing all sounds, but rather because they have some separate certainty in cognition, either assisting the senses or any other co-acting thing, and because they sometimes change. So it is thought that hearing these sounds sometimes is caused by it. We are not denying the co-action of causes, but the causes actually depend on the auxiliary action of their state, so those who have obtained the distinction are close to the result. Similarly, if sound also produces a result depending on something, then it depends on the action, and the previous certainty about its own nature will not be so. Because that is the cause of disappearance, either the effort to be dependent on, or the well-perfected senses of effort, or obtaining another nature from other things. What is not an auxiliary is not to be depended on, and if its help is another meaning, then its unrelatedness and so on have already been said. It will also become unknowable, because knowledge arises from the help itself. Its
