A distinction should be made. By admitting one dharma, others are not allowed, because it is established by reason. Although there is no proof, this is the aspect of establishing the pervaded thing and the pervading thing of the root proof. It is not to establish the opposite, because the proof is immeasurable. If it is said that here also the impermanence and the possession of birth are rejected by the opposite nature, then there is no one who does so. The ability to do so is also not possible, because the contradiction between the sentient being and the two is not established, so it is not to understand the semblance of reason and the establishment of the opposite. Before the incomplete cause arises, is it because one exists and therefore does not exist, or is it because the characteristics of mutual abandonment are understood as contradictory? For those who have birth and impermanence, etc., and those who have minds, this establishment is not there. For one, because of the nature as described above, only apart from others, it is not possible to have a combination with separate things such as objects, because the absence of it and the presence of it are contradictory because of the characteristics of mutual abandonment. The teachers also, in refuting the limbs, etc., have well established this meaning through various logical gates, so they reject such aspects, because oneness and multiplicity are contradictory. Others say that if one that has been admitted is not abandoned, then because there is nothing, both dharmas are not there. It is when the established doctrine is due to be considered, and if it is not so, then it is not appropriate to distinguish after admitting it. Meaningless imputation and discrimination are also not constant, for example, sound is impermanent or permanent, because it is any one of the categories that are in accordance with the category, and so on. Here, for things, the two of sound and vase, or the two of sound and space, are not close to each other, but are made by the speaker's desire to speak, because if there is no such thing, then the desire to speak and the others will not have proximity and kalpa. If it is the nature of things, then it should not be different by the desire to speak, so there should be no difference.

Moreover, it is unreasonable to include contradictory qualities in one thing at the same time. Therefore, these dharmas follow the wishes of the maker, and not the nature of things, because that is not allowed. Therefore, meaning cannot be accomplished from that, because the nature of things is not easily or temporarily established. If it is established, it will change. For example, seeing similar dharmas of nature somewhere, one would say: 'This lump has horns, because it is either a cow or a non-cow.' If someone says: 'Because I want to say it that way.' Then, at that time, only the intention to speak emptily is accomplished, but meaning is not accomplished from it. Because his intention is not necessarily in accordance with things. Like this, it is not possible to see that wherever there is his intention, there is a thing, because pervasiveness is not established, so it will be mistaken. 'Because this is what I have taken.' The statement of reasons and what is established from the scriptures are also explained in this way. Because words are used only according to the speaker's intention. Discrimination and scriptures are related to the author's intention, and may also conform to things, therefore, what is done by them is wrong. This is the concluding verse. Because the sign of the third mode is used to indicate the inference of other meanings. Therefore, in reality, it should be understood that the words of the thesis are not able to establish. How can it not be established? If asked, because establishment cannot arise from it through direct or indirect means. First, directly, because in order to understand the meaning of the meaning, the thesis and the reason cannot be expressed for the meaning. Therefore, they cannot be established from themselves. Meaning itself can understand meaning, because there is no error. But expression is not, because the connection is uncertain. Therefore, the words of the thesis and the reason themselves can establish the meaning, so they are not able to establish. From the words of the thesis, what is seen is doubt about the meaning, not certainty.
