It should be admitted that it is established by perception. It is not established by inference. Any, unestablished combination. Similarly, for the presence and absence of similar instances, etc., it should be stated as appropriate. That is also, not what is said. If it is only non-apprehension, then doubt will arise, if it is apprehended, then it does not exist. Reversal also comes from non-apprehension itself, therefore, even if it becomes doubt, it will not be reversed. If it is said that because it is said "as appropriate," it is only non-reversed, then it is not correct, because it is said "Whatever is definitely stated for both, that is" etc. Therefore, it is thought that even if it is not apprehended, doubt will arise, so there is no reversal, this is said to refute it. The very thing to be heard, because permanence and impermanence are not seen, therefore reversing from that, they will become the reason for distinguishing. That distinguishing is not other than reversing from those. It is not distinguishing, because it is not certain that it reverses from anything. If it is certain that something is not in something, then if it exists, how will it not be realized that it does not exist? If it is said that the two distinguishing are not, because they are harmed by other valid cognitions. Those who have the nature of distinguishing each other, because one is distinguished, the other is established, so it is not negation, because establishment and negation are contradictory, then now non-apprehension is a valid cognition, because there is a possibility of harm. Similarly, for others also, there is a possibility of being harmed by other valid cognitions, if there is harm to those who have characteristics, then it will only refute its characteristics themselves, therefore everything is not trustworthy. If it is said that for the object of inference, also because seeing the contradiction between perception and inference, it will become untrustworthy, then it is not correct, because it is impossible for what is said. If it is said that there is no contradiction without deception, then it will not be said, because it is not said for the object of inference, so it is what is desired. The object of this should be shown. Any, if only non-apprehension prevents appearances, then that is also unreasonable, as it is said, how is it unreasonable, because non-apprehension establishes non-existence. The characteristic of touching what is seen

If someone asks, "Since it is definite, isn't refutation the only logical approach?" It is not logical, because merely existing in the realm of appearance and its own nature is not refutation. Therefore, generally speaking, the refutation of earth and so on has been stated. Moreover, even if it exists on cotton, stones, leaves, and so on, different tactile sensations are seen. Because there is doubt about the existence of certain differences, it is not reasonable to refute merely because everything is not seen. Furthermore, if, like some inconsistent aspect, there is no connection merely because it is not seen, then is that not a mistake? In some places, how some substances appear, they may appear differently in other places. For example, some medicines from special fields produce special tastes, powers, and ripening effects, while from other places they do not, like that. The difference of time and good deeds is also similar. The people of those places think so, but merely because of that, it will not become like that, because qualities may be different in cases where special causes may exist. If there is no special cause, then it can be inferred, for example, the words of a seer are also preceded by human actions. Because there is no difference in language, because in all cases, it is seen that it is done by people. If merely because language and so on are slightly similar, it is inferred that all aspects are similar, then people are not without special causes, because differences can be seen in all qualities. Because difference can be understood from the difference of good deeds. Similarly, it may exist elsewhere. Because there is no reason to harm from inferring what cannot exist, because one has not seen someone without desire. Moreover, not seeing and the things to be harmed, and the things that do not harm cannot be established. Because there are no unerring fruits of desire and so on. Even if they exist, one cannot observe the phenomena that are universally present. Such things should not be abandoned either. Words are not like that, because they can be observed like differences. Even if the only thing that cannot be observed is one, there are differences.
