If you say that you want to argue with the means of establishing things like earth and phenomena, then speak up if you want to refute. Sometimes, intentions change, and the understanding of them also comes from those things. Forcibly saying "you want this," that is clearly exercising power. If you say it is not a characteristic of having a result, then it will be harmful due to error. In the meaning of "if not, then it does not arise," even if it causes harm, who does it harm? For inference in its own sphere of activity, it is said that there is no need to rely on scripture. If it is established by that, then it is well established, at that time there is no need to rely on treatises. If you say that at that time it will become a point of contention, it is not because there is no commitment at that time. This is a way of making a commitment, even if it exists at that time, it is not a limb. Like this, if the two objects are completely pure, then that is completely grasping the treatise, that is the time when the intention arises, at that time, the treatise will cause harm. For the meaning established by that, one should not think of it as being contradictory to it. To move to the third place, it is logical to accept the treatise. There also, for the dharma to be established and "if not, then it does not arise" will cause harm. It should be abandoned, not others, because it would extend infinitely. For all investigations, one must accept the treatise, who made this rule? That is by those who have no tenets, smoke cannot make one understand fire. Someone who has grown tall, but does not see the good qualities and faults, this endless demon of tenets, alas, who has possessed it? If you say that for examples, all treatises are to establish one, if the teachings become the means of establishing, this is the custom beyond the world. An unrelated dharma is not established, how can it not be established? If it is established, then say it is established, how can there be a flawed reason? As the subject, all dharmas have not been taken from examples, only people infer sentient fire etc. from words and conches etc. Because it is not mistaken, the meaning of establishing nature and causes, because it harms the speech of some, so it is not returning from nature. That is the proponent's thesis to be established, and in meaning, "if not, then it does not arise," other understandings are definite reasons, how can it not be understood? Whether the reason is stated or not, if it contradicts, what does the refuter do here? Definitely stating the fault, the trea
English
Oes la. If it arises as a harm-doer, that is impossible. If it is said that there is a fault because the harm-doer is stated, if it is not stated, then what is it? If it is not a harm, will it not lead to unreasonableness? If it is not, then why is it faulty? For other similar reasonings, because one's own assertion is the reason for establishment, if it is said that stating the meaningless is a fault, if it is to establish it, then it is not like that here. If in some treatises, because some are illogical, then rational debaters will say that other refuters are also doing the work of the royal family. If all meanings are made the same, then it is not possible to state the reason for establishment. Therefore, universally, the classification of what is to be established and the reason for establishment will be confused. If there is a contradiction in one subject, because it is not allowed, in the case of definite contradiction, such a contradiction of harm does not exist here. Even if those are not the harmer and the harmed, but for the sake of the meaning of the treatise, even if there is no connection, will it cause harm? If so, then everything will be harmed by everything. If there is a connection, therefore will it harm itself? It is not like that, because all signs are for examining the faults and merits of one's own reason for establishment. If there is no connection without which what is to be established will not arise, then it is not understood here. Here, only the harm of the treatise is a fault, and it is the same for other actions. If because of committing to the treatise, all the views of the treatise are to be established, if it is said that the example and the reason are not established, then it will become the fault of commitment. If only the reason for establishment is stated, because one's own intention is stated, then what is to be established that is obtained through intellect will not contradict the words. If one does not wish to be what is to be established, if the opponent does not wish for other dharmas, if it is not established, then what contradiction is there in harming what is not to be established? The aspect characteristic is an external meaningful thing, and the word 'self' will also become meaningless. If it is said that the treatise is the meaning that one wishes to enter, then from where does this doubt come? If it is not obstructed by valid cognition, then what attachment can prevent it? If even if it is obstructed by valid cognition, then what words can make it enter? Those previous schools hold on to their own intentions. Then what will happen later? Why can't one obtain other attachments? Because it has been shown that there is no harm in intention and it is not what is to be established, and it is not exhaustive, in order to eliminate wrong understanding, therefore the word 'self' is used here.
