Like the example of "not audible." Both become objects to be proven, because the subject of dharma is proven as a distinction of dharma. For it, either one or both can be, because it is reasonable that contradiction itself arises from proving the opposite from its own specific nature. An example of both will be shown, such as saying: "All speech has a false meaning, because it is indicative, like the appearance of actions in a dream." If there is speech like that, then speech and the nature of speech are false meanings, therefore it is a slander against the meaning of the general summary. Therefore, it contradicts its own nature. If speech itself does not have a false meaning, then it contradicts its distinction. Again, it is said: Dharma and the subject of dharma, whether its own nature or its distinction, because it proves the opposite, it contradicts by harming it. Where the teacher said: "The inner accumulation is not, likewise it is not for the benefit of others." After raising this doubt, what is said is that the accumulation itself is negated as a reason having the inner nature of eyes, etc., thereby negating the characteristic of the reason. In this way, both cannot be established on the concordant side. On the discordant side, since it is established as doing the benefit of all others, it is included in the previous contradiction. In order to clarify this, from another meaning it is said: Common and specific, dharma and the object to be proven are two. Whatever understands the dharma to be proven, that is actually three, namely the common, the specific, and the parts of both. It should also be seen that dividing into nine forms also comes from those three themselves. For it, the first two are doubts. For the respective differences of all things, doubt arises at the edge of the common and specific subjects of dharma, for example, when sound is established as permanent or impermanent, because it is measurable, and likewise because it is audible. The remainder is divided into three based on what is relied upon. Relative to the object to be proven, for the parts of both, it is the correct, the mistaken understanding, and the reason for doubt.

No. What is the reason for anything? First, the reason why the two completely become doubts is that, like this, those two are of all. From entering and not entering, returning and following are established or not. From many aspects, it is neither completely separating one, nor is it establishing the other, that is from following and returning, etc. Know that those are not separated from one part. If that is the case, then it will definitely enter one, and not returning will also become a sign. Like this, the parts of both are not definitely entering one, and following and returning, etc. will become the reason for both? If it is possible, then it will become, but it is not possible to become both. Existence is also not neither of both. It is impossible for anything to become both permanent and impermanent. Similarly, the meaning of existence is neither permanent, nor impermanent, nor is it not. If so, then how do the parts of both enter into many contradictory meanings, and following all, become the sign of knowing? It is from the perspective of distinguishing other meanings, not from grasping its characteristics, like this, that is: Where there is not, there it distinguishes, the meaning of establishment is established as it is. One enters two on the other. On the parts of both, it distinguishes from that which is not. From that aspect, entering all the types to be established or one aspect, knowing the meaning as it is, is said as a reason. For example, sound is impermanent because it is made, and because it is produced from effort, etc. Similarly, from the fragrance of the উৎপལའི་ itself, the fragrance itself, as well as the quality itself, as well as the dependent itself, as well as the non-quality itself, etc. are established. Because it is not seen in the absence of fragrance itself, etc. It is not like that, if it is established as entering, from the white form quality dependent, sequentially on the reversed order, three, two, one will become recognized. Saying one word, because one is not established, it is not contradictory and not confusing, so it is to know that it is the reason for doubt itself, like this, admitting that the general is permanent.
