It is not so for any property of transformation and those with property, etc., because in this way they will mutually grasp and be grasped in all ways. Property, etc., is not seen as the illuminator from any aspect. Therefore, the meaning is expressed from another relationship. Furthermore, just property and those with property, etc., if it is holding the marked object, because it is understood from outside the relationship, it will be held in all situations. If it is only from the perspective of property that the very possessor of property is revealed and the marked object is understood, then it is not possible to speak of the meaning of property from other marks from the aspect of the holder of the relationship. If it goes far beyond that, it will also hold the marked object from all aspects of itself, so it is enough to think about it with reductio ad absurdum. Thus, for the time being, the main and the following, etc., are not the objects of the cause and the caused themselves, and the objects of the producer. It is the object of the illuminator and the illuminated. If it is one, it is not seven. If it is the object of the illuminator and the illuminated itself, then do not divide them into seven types from the difference between property and those with property, etc. If one of them is not the illuminator, then the others will not become the illuminator. Because it is different from the cause and the caused object, other relationships, just focusing on this, will become the illuminator of this. Therefore, it has already been said that other causes of inference are meaningless. It should not be said that it is the object of cause and effect, because the cause of inference itself is the illuminator. What is called the caused itself is the illuminated, the illuminator, and so on. Any relationship of co-occurring objects, for the main etc. and the following etc., if

How to understand? Therefore, such a relationship is the fundamental cause of inference. Whatever is inferred has two aspects: particular manifestation and general manifestation. Regarding the statement that particular manifestation is not considered inference itself, why is that? Because it is intended to be a memory. Setting aside the memory of what was previously experienced, saying of another cognition, "This is it," is not inference. Regarding the statement that general manifestation is of two types, it is not reasonable to insist on taking each one or both. How should it be understood? If, for the moment, it is said that only general manifestation is of two types, then repeated inference from results and causes will become impossible. If only general manifestation is of two types, then the first of those that exist together, such as wealth and the wealthy, and those with a relationship of harmable and harmer, will not become inference. These are not the first of cause and effect, nor are they grasping at particulars. Thus it is said: Furthermore, it is said: the showing of seven relations, and inference itself being two, and the three inferences that preceded it, into which of these are they included? If again it is like this, the owner of wealth is the agent, and wealth is not the action. Because it is what is to be apprehended and what is apprehending. That is not so, because it would follow that there is no other relationship. If one affirms that everything is to be known and is knowing, then it is because it is helpful. Those that are definitely grasped as two should not be definitely grasped, because there is no result. What is the result of the statement that general manifestation is of two types? If others also have two types, then it will become many types. Whatever is said, that inference with the former is deluded, that is also unreasonable, because those with a connection are not deluded. There may be obstacles, etc., to the cause, and there may also be no result, so because of delusion it is not inference. If the cause itself subsequently

If it is said that inference should be stated after being closely examined because it is the cause of making measurements, that is also not reasonable. Because if it is mistaken, then it is not a sign. Why? Because it is not a sign of that thing, because it is the cause of generating doubt. Therefore, it is not reasonable to closely establish inference here either. Because even if the knowledge of the result arising from the cause is possible, it is possible to recognize that the sign is mistaken. If it is said to be mistaken, that is not the case, because at that time it is not its cause. When the fault of not being in accordance with the thing arises there, then it is not its inference. If, again, it is not possessed of the knowledge of cause and result, then it is not mistaken, and if it is dependent, then in that case, other relations are appropriate. If that is the case, then that which depends on what is not mistaken itself does not arise if it is absent. That is the cause of inference, but it is not related to the result. If it is said that only the remainder of the one who has discrimination is inference, or that the reason itself should be stated after being closely examined as inference, then similarly, for all its inferences, it should be said to be with examination. Even if the direct perception only grasps the general, it is because the specific meaning of the thing is not certain here. Then, only the one with the remainder is not the one with discrimination, because existence is also with discrimination. Because it is examined whether this established sign exists, whether it changes from this or does not change. For example, the river is full, therefore it is certainly not mistaken and is with discrimination, but it is not from action and agent, because it is from what does not exist does not arise. If that is the case, then by making a definite grasp, those inferences that see the general, the ones with the remainder, also correctly realize those that are beyond the realm of the senses, that is not reasonable. Because it can also be completely established from others. When one realizes the main existence and so on again and again from the following and so on itself, because one can also understand seeing the difference, one should definitely grasp it.
