It does not apply to things that do not exist. Anything that does not exist, such as mirages, appears as if it exists, and it will also meet at some point. Special places and the glare of the sun, and the various elements, are only existence. They meet with the mind of the eye, and from the wandering of meaningless consciousness, gradually arises confused consciousness. Therefore, it is not reasonable to say that it is reasonable to refute them. If you think the word "existence" is sacred, then you are saying that the senses are beautiful. In any case, it should be examined in this way: wherever any sense is considered sacred, it will not act on other things. So, does it meet that sacred thing completely, or does it meet and be described with that very beautiful sense? Sacred accomplishment and beauty, like eye medicine and so on. Saying it is an accomplishment is just to fill in the gaps in the words. Other dust and so on also make the senses sacred, but this is only meaning. The very beauty of the senses also comes from eye medicine and applying it to the feet, and so on, so perfect combination with it will also become apparent. If the situation is not like that, for example, from the word "walking" you can represent a cow, but even if there are other acts of walking, it is not like that. It is accomplished and represented only through meaning, not through other means. Similarly, it should be said in the same way for very beautiful. This refutation is intolerable. If you examine it in this way from fame, then the word is not the object of the senses. The word walking is famous only for cows, so the word walking is used to represent it. Similarly, for the sake of sacred and very beautiful, the words of existence do not refer to the senses. Therefore, it is also unreasonable to examine it in this way from the words of existence. Wherever you meet things, there is a gap between shape and sound, and you also see grasping huge things, so it is harmful to things that have no gap. Like this, in all cases, if it depends on the senses to obtain things, then, for those things that have a gap with shape and sound, etc., grasp them, and also grasp things that exceed the scope of the senses. Like this, in both cases it will not change, so the senses, like smell and so on, when there is no gap, it is not seen to grasp.

In the collection of causes of the senses, after abandoning speech, from where does it come? The commentators on epistemology say that other meanings are the result, the result of epistemology, other than the arising of mind, nothing else is seen, from what is the arising of mind established, that is considered to be perception. Regarding this, for speech, also as it is, abandoning the subject of speech, etc., and the combination and the agent, etc., if the mind has no other cause, then what is used as the name of perception? Is it the meaning? If only the meaning is the collection of causes of perception, then why add the arising of mind? Saying it like this, it is enough to say that the senses of the person who exists and truly meets are perception, what is the use of adding mind and arising? That which arises from what, that is also from discrimination. Furthermore, the meaning and the senses, the mind of the person, other than the combination and the agent, the collection of the arising of the mind of perception, what kind of speech is that? Those collections themselves do not generate perception. It is not considered that the senses and the meaning meet, because the so-called perception exists in those two. True union is also not perception, because it is not considered that this is established separately. If it is said again, that which is determined to arise from saying "this is a cow, this is a horse" is perception, that is also not reasonable, because, the meaning of the existence of the cow's union, measures as cow, etc., the mind of the senses does not have the ability to combine with meanings, etc. Just looking at the cow, according to your view, the mind of the senses only relies on that and does not have the ability to see, because it does not combine those, and without combining, it is also impossible to determine the cow, etc. Therefore, the distinction between what is to be distinguished and the distinguisher, and what is to be spoken and the speaker, all these distinctions are attached by the mind, not by the mind of the senses. Why? The meaning that can be recognized by each, is not the way to be indicated, the object of the senses, even if there are many dharmas, the object of the senses is what appears to the senses, what is the uncommon nature.
