will be eliminated. Entering is not said to be a valid cognition. Because the mind sense that makes the senses enter into true experience does not have signs, etc., because it is not said to be a valid cognition, it will become a fault. The true experience of entering there will not be included in other valid cognitions. That fault does not exist, because the experience of entering there is memory, like desire, etc. If someone says that memory is a difference of direct perception, therefore the sense consciousness is a direct perception of the external object, and there is no interval with the entry of the senses. Memory? If it is said to be memory, because it has not been experienced, the mind without interval is not the memory that can hold the entry of the senses. Because it has not been experienced before. Two things will happen at once. If it is at once, then both the sense consciousness and the mind that experiences it will be promised to be eliminated. If so, the reason of the object will also exist on the object-possessor. That mind that experiences the valid sense is not a valid cognition, because he has entered that state, so it is not a valid cognition, therefore he will experience it. There is no fault for those who think it is self-awareness, etc. What is called memory is like the steps of a blind person. If it exists, then memory is the difference of holding direct perception. Even so, if you hold the object of the senses without interval, then it will not become memory, because the mind has not experienced it. The mind has not experienced the external object before. Memory is lost, or even if it is memory, others will be seen. Just experiencing the entry of the senses, therefore it is not experienced or memory is lost, the words called or are all the meaning of distinction. How will it be lost? If someone says that the external object and the entry of the senses arise together and want to experience it, because someone says that the ability of one thing to produce two senses cannot be observed, therefore that is a loss. Those faults do not exist. The mind of memory always holds

It is forbidden to arise together only for the sake of the doctrine. Since it has been established that they arise together, why do the senses and consciousness together grasp the meaning of external objects? This is a refutation of the manner of grasping. If someone asks, why does consciousness associated with the senses sometimes arise simultaneously? Even so, in order to specifically explain memory, it is excluded. If it is forbidden for consciousness to arise together with external objects in order to specifically explain memory, then, as stated before, the senses will grasp the external object, and then consciousness will hold it. In this way, after consciousness has held it, it will recognize it in the same way as the senses. These statements are all excluded. Therefore, for external objects, memory does not exist. If consciousness directly acts on external objects, then the other senses acting on external objects become meaningless, because consciousness can accomplish the purpose of a person. Therefore, since it is impossible to ascertain the nature of the object, the direct perception of the Samkhya school is not a valid means of knowledge. The debaters say that the wisdom of the senses of a person, which arises from encountering existence and truth, is direct perception. To this, it is said, "The manifestation of existence is meaningless, it can be understood from the word 'encounter'." Because encountering truth, it is certain that only existence is real, so it is unreasonable to mention existence in order to exclude non-existence. If the answer is that it is to explain the encounter, then if someone doubts, when it is said that the senses encounter truth, what connects and makes it truly encounter? The answer is that it has been understood as an encounter, so existence is mentioned for this purpose. If this is the case, then it should be said to be a characteristic of the senses, and in order to make the senses have characteristics, the connection should be explained separately. If someone says that here also the connection and encounter with self and consciousness etc. should be explained, because this is expressed in general terms. This is also unreasonable. It is permissible to encounter only existence, it is not non-existence, so what is there to explain? The encounter of a person etc. universally with only existence itself is established, therefore.
