Rich indeed! Subtle and inconceivable, extremely thin, omniscient and all-performing. The wise, attained through the practice of yoga, are the object of meditation. The sun, moon, water, fire, wind, directions, and the body of space. Those who desire the bliss of peace and accomplishment should always meditate on the powerful one. Such distinctions of qualities are all conceptual constructs. Things do not arise from these, therefore, it is refuted to say that they are dissimilar causes. The statement "not without cause" refutes the assertion of causelessness. The remaining statements show that the cause of things is not inverted. Then, how is it known that things do not arise from Isvara? Because the actions of a person are seen to be connected with results. If it is asked whether the absence of results is also an appearance, the appearance is true, but that is because other causes are not complete. If a thing arises from many causes, and even if those causes are assembled, that thing does not arise, then it is clearly known that it is done by Isvara. Time is not the cause of the arising of all things, because it is not observed in following or reversing, like a flower in the sky. Furthermore, since it is permanent, things do not arise sequentially, because the cause is incomplete, things do not arise. The arising and destruction of things would also occur simultaneously, because there is no difference in cause. However, if there is a difference in arising and destruction, then it would not be permanent. Since no permanence is seen in the cause, there is no causal entity in time in any way. Destruction is also not connected with a cause, because it is non-existent, like utter nothingness. Nature should also be understood to be refuted appropriately by this very reasoning. Furthermore, nature does not change, because it is permanent, like a person. Nature also does not change for the sake of a person, because it is permanent, like a person for the sake of nature. Nature is not to be enjoyed, because it is permanent, just like a person. A person is also not the enjoyer, because it is permanent, just like nature. Nature is also not the basis of the seed of all dharmas

Because it is permanent, it is only like a person. It is also not the nature of nature, vigor, atoms, and darkness, because it is permanent, it is only like a person. Furthermore, if nature transforms into some kind of change, then does it transform by all of itself? Or by one part? If it is transformed by all of itself, then nature will be cut off. But if it is transformed from one part, then it will become impermanent. It is also not born from its own nature, because it already exists, just like something that has already been born. It is also not Ishvara, because it has a body of earth and so on, it is only like earth and so on. It is also not possible to have mutually contradictory natures in one, and it is also not a multitude of selves, so it is impossible for this to be non-earthly and so on. It is also not what makes it extremely thin, because it has a body of birth, it is only like birth. It is also not all-knowing, because it is what makes it extremely thin, like a liberated self. It is also not the doer of all, because it is subtle, like an atom. This is also not permanent, because it has a body of earth and so on, it is only like earth and so on. Ishvara is also not the cause of the birth of all dharmas, because they are not born simultaneously, like a potter. Form and so on are also not created by Ishvara, because they are things, like Ishvara. Ishvara is also not the doer of all, because it is selfless, like a pot. If there is a self, then like a bound person, it will become non-Ishvara. The assertion of causelessness is completely refuted by the world itself, and there is no need to say anything about it. So from what do things arise? It is said in the treasury of knowledge: They arise from ignorance, karma, and craving. For example, a seed that has not been damaged is covered with fertilizer and moistened with water, which makes the sprout clearly grow. Similarly, karma covered by ignorance and moistened by the water of craving also makes the sprout of craving clearly grow. Among them, ignorance is complete delusion about the truths, and ignorance, non-seeing, and darkness are its synonyms. A child becomes blind due to ignorance, so for this
