It shows the difference. Now, in order to show the difference between the lightness and heaviness of good and evil deeds performed in the desire realm, "constant and manifest attachment" and so on are mentioned. Among them, the heaviness of karma is explained from the aspects of the difference in the combination of the four causes, the difference in intention, the difference in antidote, and the difference in basis. Among them, the difference in combination is that even a small karma is due to the long-term combination. Even a short-term karma becomes heavy due to the difference in intention combined with strong afflictions and great joy. If the karma that has been done is suppressed by a powerful antidote, it will become weak; if that karma has no antidote, it will become powerful. The basis is of two kinds, namely, those with qualities and those who can benefit. Among them, those with qualities refer to the Three Jewels, and some individuals who have risen from cessation, and so on. Those who can benefit are parents, etc., and others who can give special benefits, such as those with mottled colors, bears, and monkeys, etc. In this way, these five kinds of good and evil deeds are great because they will surely produce results and produce many results. Therefore, you should completely abandon evil deeds and strive to do good deeds. It is explained by "a handful of salt" etc. that small karma will also be suppressed because it has many powers. In short, therefore, if you do a small amount of good deeds and a large amount of evil deeds, you should not be fearless; if you do a large amount of good deeds and a small amount of evil deeds, you should not be too afraid. The meaning of the limbs is easy to understand. Now, by "agitation and regret" etc., the dharmas that are contrary to meditation and liberation are shown. In order to strive to eliminate these. Agitation and regret are one obscuration. Harmful thoughts are the second. Drowsiness and sleep are the third. Desire is the fourth. Doubt is the fifth. These are the five obscurations, because they obscure the path of meditation and liberation. Among them, agitation is the mind not being pacified, the mind not being

The synonym for 'arising'. Regret is the mental anguish focused on evil deeds done, a synonym for 'later displeasure'. Harmful intent is anger, and the nine objects of pervasive torment should be understood. These are the nine objects of pervasive torment: harm done to oneself, harm being done, harm to be done – this is the first set of three; harm done to one's friends, those who are liked and желающий benefit, harm being done, harm to be done – this is the second set of three; benefit done to those who are not friends, disliked, желающий harm, not желающий benefit, benefit being done, benefit to be done – this is the third set of three. The tenth object of pervasive torment is also said to be the inappropriate. This pervasive torment should be understood in relation to past grudges. Lethargy is the state of being unfit for work, both physically and mentally. Sleep is falling asleep. Desire for sensual pleasures refers to the object of attachment to sensual pleasures, which is a synonym for craving and manifest desire. Doubt is the doubt about liberation and the path to liberation. These five obscurations are called thieves because they steal the wealth of virtue. Furthermore, why are two obscurations each described as one? Because they are similar in agitation and dullness. Excitement and regret are both agitation. Lethargy and sleep are dullness. Thus, after the obstructive dharmas have been shown, in order to show the dharmas that are in accordance with liberation, faith, diligence, and mindfulness, etc., are mentioned. Just as there are five dharmas that are contrary to liberation, so too are there only five that are in accordance with liberation, this is a synonym. These, faith and so on, in whose wake the noble path arises and goes to another state, are called the supreme dharma. It is not only that the name of supreme dharma is obtained. What then? The meaning is that the names power, faculty, and peak are also obtained. Among these, power refers to patience.
