Due to... there is no harm to sentient beings. Similarly, a person living under a tree who enters a monastery for activities like those, even if a rainbow appears when it rains, will not lose their status as a tree-dweller. The faults that occur for a tree-dweller, a homeless person, and a cemetery dweller are also the same as for a monastery dweller. Even a rag-wearer, if the clothes are completely cut, the ends are not cut, eaten by cows, eaten by mice, burned by fire, thrown on the road for auspiciousness, belonging to the cemetery, thrown away in sorrow, used as flags, etc., and wearing clothes given by monks, some think there is no contradiction, because they think those are the same as rag-wearers. It is said that for the sake of seeking rags, if a householder donates strong and new silk and so on, even if it is accepted, one will not lose the status of a rag-wearer. Similarly, specially prepared food, food lowered by a rope, half-month observers, Uposatha observers, Sangha food, and monastery food, because they are not invited guests, will not lose the status of a mendicant. Even when sitting alone, encountering the fear of fierce elephants, horses, unruly herds, illusions, etc., and out of respect for Khenpos, Acharyas, and Brahmacharis, immediately getting up to eat will not lose the status of sitting alone. Therefore, among these qualities of practice, the monastery dweller, the hut dweller, the simple dwelling dweller, the cemetery dweller, the tree dweller, and the homeless person, these six are very compatible with bedding. The rag-wearer, the one with three Dharma robes, and the alms-seeker, these three are very compatible with Dharma robes. The mendicant, the solitary sitter, and the one who does not accept leftover food, these three are very compatible with alms. Among these, in order to completely pacify the near cause of generating attachment to alms, Dharma robes, and bedding, and for... the noble lineage and following

It should be truly accepted in order to be compatible, and by abiding in it, with the joy of abandoning, it cuts off the existence that is the cause of arising, therefore it is blissful. Some say that the first three qualities of training are the main ones, and the rest are the auxiliary ones, because it shows extreme joy to the noble Mañjuśrī. For example, the verse spoken by the Blessed One, "Kāśyapa, when will you be seen by me?" Some say that these five famous elders, who show the supreme nature of the elders, are the main ones, and the other seven are the auxiliary ones. All of these are the supreme of auspiciousness, because they are perfectly pure faith, and are excellent with many qualities, and like the Tathāgata, they are not to be blamed, and it is completely peaceful, and it is the very factor that increases complete peace. In the words of the good path, the second perfect chapter called "Adorned by the Qualities of Training." Truly take the qualities of training, truly abide in the memory of meaning, the yogi who possesses mindfulness, all actions become meaningful. As it was said before, one should only possess mindfulness when standing up and sitting down. Therefore, all actions of body, speech, and mind should be done after being well examined separately with mindfulness, thinking, "This should be accomplished as the cause of this, this should be practiced as the cause of this," one should not accomplish anything meaningless, let alone virtuous deeds? This is mindfulness that is in accordance with meaning. As it is said in the advice to the noble Rāhula: Rāhula, therefore, wanting to do the actions of the body, one should look at this body, it is an aggregate of three hundred bones, connected by tendons, adorned with hundreds of patterns of flesh, covered with skin. It is made to enter by the power of the mind, it is made to move by fire and wind, earth and water are mostly dominant, therefore it comes into contact with beds and cushions, etc., relying on conditions, because of its instability it is painful, therefore one should not cling to self and what is mine.
