This is also a general teaching. As such, it is said that it is not good to teach to those who are not yet mature at first. If one views emptiness incorrectly, those with little wisdom will be harmed. It is said like that. Even at the time of the root downfall, it is said: To sentient beings whose minds have not been tamed, teaching emptiness is. It is said like that. Thinking of this, when the Noble One established the order of the Dharma, in order to prevent sentient beings who have become vessels from losing their means, for whom, the Dharma of higher realms first. He taught the order of the Dharma, and so on. Whoever, if one abides in whatever Dharma of higher realms, then through the order of hearing and thinking, etc., later, goodness will surely arise, and the nature of meditation and wisdom will arise and exist. First, it means before. Because it is the cause of higher realms, it is higher realms, because the result is placed on the cause. For example, life is butter. It's like that. Where is this from? There, higher realms are due to happiness. It is said like that. Happiness is not supposed to be Dharma, because it is its result. It should be said in the same way for definite goodness. Dharma is the nature of what is said, abiding in the happiness of worldly perfection, the nature of giving and discipline, etc., which are in accordance with attainment. In the result of the two kinds of Dharma, when showing the connection that does not deceive, only the Dharma that accomplishes the result is taught. Higher realms and definite goodness, the meaning of what was said earlier, is explained in verses. If one does not understand that meaning, if someone says, why rely on this order? Therefore, the reason. Why after obtaining higher realms. It is said like that, meaning for what reason after obtaining and finding. Order means order. By order means relying on order. After means the invisible fifth case. Also, by order means by order, which is the meaning of the third case. Will come means will come. Removal means what was said earlier. Now, for those who do not understand higher realms and definite goodness, there, higher realms are. It is said like that, etc.

It appears at the rock. As before, because it is the cause of happiness, it is happiness. Whatever is the Dharma of higher realms, it is called happiness because it is in accordance with obtaining all the perfect happiness of the world. The Dharma that accords with obtaining liberation is liberation. Desire is aspiration, and the same should be said of happiness. "That" refers to the two practices just mentioned, and the difference between their concise and extensive forms is that the expression is brief. Faith is the mind that is utterly clear, with a form of complete conviction in actions, results, truths, and the Three Jewels. Because of thoroughly understanding the meaning without inversion, it is wisdom, a distinction of intelligence. Faith and wisdom are called that because, in short, they are those two. If someone asks, what is the difference between "in short" and "in brief," and why are they mentioned twice? The former is a distinction of practice. The latter is not a fault because it is faith, etc. Or, because the sounds are not for meaning, the former is a word of teaching. If someone asks, if it is practiced with two meanings like this, then, because one has faith, one relies on the Dharma. And so on, it is said that whoever has faith in something is a faithful person. Its nature is the faithful person itself. Therefore, relying on the faithful person, this distinction is the same as before. Relying is acting. The meaning is that if faith arises in that Dharma, then afterwards, through the sequence of listening, etc., one will rely on that Dharma, otherwise not. The same should be said for "because one possesses wisdom." "Truly" means as it is in reality. "Knowing" means understanding. Faith, too, through transmission, will certainly become the cause of goodness, although it is like arising from a wish-fulfilling jewel, but it is only wisdom that truly realizes reality, thinking this in his heart, therefore he says: "Of those two, wisdom is the main one." And so on. "Main" is main, meaning precious. "This" refers to the two practices. Going first beforehand.
