If it does not exist, then what is without direction and without parts, if it is like that, it will change. What is that? Consider for a moment, that is not one, because birth, abiding, and destruction have many times, it is the nature of the three. If you say it is atoms, then those have already been thoroughly proven to have parts from hundreds and seven hundreds. If you say it is the sound that grammarians call "plosive sounds are clear sounds," if that is the case, if it itself is without parts, it will not be clear like a vowel, so it has parts. All of those are momentary, so they have parts, therefore that is the refutation itself. Therefore, in that way, there is nothing without direction. If you think, "It is just not one, will it become not?" Therefore, it is said "without one" and so on, many depend on one, without it it is not possible, so there is no one, and there are no many. If it only becomes non-existent, that will be obstructed by the remainder. The meaning is this: If existence itself is admitted to be one, then depending on it, it will become like that. If you ask, "How is it like that?" The meaning is shown by the concluding verse. When possessing existence itself, it is existence itself, like saying "the crow is black." That is destroyed and exhausted, or an antidote, like saying "there is a snake here" because of fear of snake venom, because there is an antidote to the snake, a mongoose, saying "there is not." If non-existence itself is like that, then existence is not possible. Because existence itself is not possible and is not admitted, both are not reasonable. Because what is like that? Therefore, that cause of Nirvana, for the sake of the world called sentient beings, in the ultimate truth, will not decrease and decrease, will not approach. Therefore, if you ask, "Does this world have an end?" The Blessed One remained silent without speaking. If birth exists, then existence itself exists. Its end is the limit, if it is the limit, because that does not exist, so that does not exist. This is also not someone who is destined to hear such a Dharma.
