The earth was lifted up, becoming weak and powerless. The actions of the seven kings were consistent. Those blazing with glory and radiating with power, At the same moment, the seven planets, With fear, transformed like the sky. The noses were filled with the intoxicating scent of wine after drinking, The eyes were filled with the dust raised by waving arms, The ears were filled with the sounds of horses, cattle, and drums, The women were also defeated there. Then, juice flowed inside the wooden ladles, Servants were gathered in front, along with cavalry troops, Elephants surrounded on all sides, the gate was half-closed, Blocking and heading towards the battlefield. Then, the city dwellers holding Shakti, swords, and arrows, Those who abandoned courage out of fear and felt ashamed, Like eagles, watching the enemies, All gathered in the nearby battlefield. Some with unsteady minds wailed and cried, Others gathered together and blew conches loudly. Some extremely arrogant people threw forcefully, Others wielded blue swords. Then, for the sake of victory, the giants desired to fight, Seeing the giants roaring like giants, The hearts of the women going to battle, Along with medicines, offerings were also prepared. The brave men who wanted to be the first to enter the battlefield, The women going to battle trembled all over there, Putting on armor and acting calmly, The worried faces did not shed tears. Apart from the worried faces, others, like female deer, Leaned on the bow, wanting to go home, Seeing whose face was bravely facing the battlefield, They abandoned the unfinished bonds, neither leaving nor staying. Like snakes tightly confined in a bottle, Those who burst forth so violently with strength, Seeing the giants arranged in this way, The monarchs pondered deeply for the sake of war. Seeing chariots, elephants, horses, and infantry proudly standing, All approaching the battlefield, The wise man and the friend, The Brahmin priest spoke these words.

On the battlefield, the enemies' lives and arrogance, your arrows are able to destroy. If different storehouses and residences cannot be peaceful, what need to mention other identical actions? If using complete blockade to destroy the enemy, please reverse the plans that have been made. Obstructing the innocent villagers, inflicting harm, what kind of Dharma is that? The movement of black venomous snakes entering caves, is like people residing in one place falling asleep when the time is ripe. Gaining victory after blockade is not the only way, perhaps victory can be obtained by blockading a hundred times. The messengers who enter the city and are blockaded inside, after people hear it from conscious individuals, like tiny sparks scattered by things being burned, even if the brilliance is weak, it will lead to great benefit. Even if those who possess the essence of Dharma are blockaded in the city, those who want to destroy and gain victory will be disintegrated by asceticism. Even if the army is exhausted, in the city of Kashi (Varanasi), complete victory can be achieved through the power of Dharma that makes sound with the palms. For the sake of fame or for the sake of obtaining land, all those who manifestly obtain it, like cattle drinking water from the water source, after abandoning it, those lords of the earth go to death. Therefore, after correctly seeing Dharma and benefit, you should strive through peaceful means. Those defeated by arrows will ignite again, while those defeated by peaceful means will have no transformation. All of this is not a measure for you, your strength can surpass the strength of the enemy. If someone wants to make offerings to Shakyamuni Buddha, then one should serve his teachings with patience. Thus, and so on, the definite ascertainment of desires, with the Brahmin's uprightness and extreme joy, even the king followed and praised, spoke auspicious words, and then they said this. Combining with the times, through wise and beneficial friends, these words were spoken, from the joy of Dharma and reliance on strength, be sure to understand the thoughts of the kings. For the sake of desire, for the sake of anger, for the sake of power, for the sake of death.
