Anyone will gain Dharma and fame. If Dharma-abiding virtuous people deviate from the Dharma, we will also strive to make them diligent in the Dharma. We, who lead others to the Dharma, do so for the sake of the Dharma to abide in the world. The supreme sage Rishi said that the giving of Dharma is superior to all gifts. If someone uses wealth for enjoyment, then the giver of Dharma has accumulated merit. From then on, it brings fame and happiness, and from it, the teachings of the Dharma are obtained. Those who look at each other with shame, the Brahmins said this to the Vaishya caste. Alas, friend, you are certain about good deeds. Because of being in accord with the Brahmins, affection for merits has arisen. Like bad horses misled by other paths, who can place them on the correct path of practice? As it is said, that will be fulfilled, and it is appropriate to hold onto these words full of love and gentleness. If one excessively indulges in the words of friends, and later falls into suffering, they will feel sorrow. Then, the giants who understand the realm of beings, respectfully divided those (relics) from merit into eight parts. Then, taking one part for themselves, they gave the remaining seven parts separately to others. Those giants and the respected rulers, happily completed the task and returned to their respective homelands. Then, the Rishi, according to the ritual, built stupas for those relics in their respective cities and consecrated them. Then, in order to build a Shakyamuni stupa in their own country, the Vaishyas who wanted to build took the vases that they had each received. Those remaining ashes were also taken by those who were full of respect and merit, in a place called Pisala. Then, in front of the eight stupas with the essence of relics, resembling white rock mountains, offerings were made with those vases, and the ninth Brahmin appeared. The tenth, possessing the essence of ashes, also appeared. The Shakyamuni stupas, with various fluttering banners, resemble the peaks of Mount Kailash. Those rulers with their own people, and the Brahmins with the populace, made offerings there.

Moreover, with manifested garlands and excellent fragrances, and with garlands of virtue and crisp musical sounds, with those excellent offerings that are not neglected, it was done for those who hold the lineage of the Victorious One. Then, when the time came, five hundred Arhats, having completely gathered in the city named with five peaks, again, for the sake of the Dharma abiding as it is, the words of the Sage were accurately compiled on the mountainside. At all times, what was heard from the great ascetic was definitely said to be Ananda himself. Those monks, in the harmonious assembly, requested the Supremely Able One with the excellent body to speak. Then, he sat in the midst of them, and with the excellence of speakers, the words as he spoke them, where, to whom, when, and about what, thus I have heard it said. Therefore, by what was subsequently bound by the Arhats, the doctrine of the Great Sage abides, and whoever truly attains it through diligence will be extinguished, is being extinguished, and will be extinguished. He is the one who gives sorrow to the arrogant enemies, he is the one who cuts off the suffering of beings, like a sorrowless tree full of flowers and fruits, pleasing to behold. At that time, that respectful lord of the earth, Ashoka, was born. The glory of the noble Maurya, for the benefit of beings, caused stupas with symbols to be built in all the worlds. Having obtained the cruel Ashoka, on the earth, it was obtained from the Dharma King Ashoka himself. From those seven stupas that were manifested, Maurya took the relics of that sage, and at that time, with the light of the glorious stupas like the light of autumn clouds, eighty-four thousand relics were placed. The first of the eight stupas in the Joyful City, at that time, was guarded by the respectful Nagas, therefore, the king did not obtain the relics, and he did not believe what was done there, and it became vast. Therefore, although the glory of all that abides and moves is guarded with the mind against the fruits of enemies, that unremitting one, other than wearing the ochre robe, has a completely pure view and attains the first fruit. Other than that, an offering that can be overcome by others,
