Alas, do not only see suffering itself! If one can understand the arising of the world, one can completely abandon the view of annihilation. If one can understand the destruction of the world, one can quickly abandon the firm view of permanence. Having heard the teachings of the great sage, in this way, he abandoned his previous views. Because of all that he had done before, he quickly followed the sacred Dharma. His mind was very joyful, possessing excellent qualities, and he thoroughly attained the state of peace and immutability. He praised the sleeping Muni, and in this way, he generated these thoughts from this view. The worthy of offering, the holy one who is fit to enter Nirvana, having seen the protector, I am not fit to remain here. The teacher, possessing compassion, is about to enter Nirvana, I will temporarily go to the ultimate realm first. Then, he prostrated to the Muni, coiling himself on the unmoving cushion like a snake. Just as clouds and wind make subtle things even more subtle, he immediately entered the peaceful Nirvana. Then, for that reason, regarding the rituals for the relics, the Muni who knows the rituals has declared as such. That one who reached the end, the great sage who ended rebirth, became an example of a student who has vast students. Then, when the night had passed, when the moon had stolen the light of the stars, when the forests had become silent as if asleep, the Buddha with great compassion taught the monks: Like a teacher, like a lamp, like the truth, after I pass away, the Pratimoksha should be taught, it is your teacher, and you should act according to it. When I am alive, I only say this much. Wanting to completely purify the actions of body and speech, likewise, abandon all worldly affairs, and regarding land, beings, seeds, objects, and so on, turn away from attachment like turning away from fire. From the actions of cutting and separating life on the land, from the actions of digging and plowing the land, from nurturing life, astrology, and physiognomy, etc., one must definitely turn away, the ritual of eating should be timely. Regarding the behavior of messengers, the practice of medicine and mantras, there should be no inappropriate combinations and concealment. For practices not prohibited by the Dharma, there should be moderation.

It is not desire and satisfaction, and so on. In this way, this perfectly gathered discipline is called the root of liberation, which is individual liberation. From this, concentrations and so on arise greatly, and all wisdoms and ultimate transcendence as well. Therefore, that which is not broken, not diminished, and cannot be taken away, the Dharma that brings pure discipline, if it is absent, then all of this will be absent, discipline is the basis of all excellent qualities. When discipline is not diminished and remains perfectly pure, one does not engage in the objects of the senses. Just as with a stick, one keeps a herd of cows away from crops, one should steadfastly restrain the six senses. When the horses of the senses are freed to the objects, they take and are not satisfied with just that. Just as the moving horses snatch and go on a bad path, so one obtains meaninglessly for that purpose. Those who have gone under the power of great enemies, some here will obtain suffering. Having gone under the power of objects through ignorance, having gone, here now the powerless are worthy of suffering. Therefore, like the unruly enemy, the senses, the going of the senses is not to be gone, and having made the delight of the senses in the world, the executioner of the senses is seen in the world. Just as one fears one's own moving mind, one should not fear tigers, snakes, and burning fire, and enemies in that way, because there is no honey and no correct thought in the mind. Like a drunken elephant without a hook, like a mountain deer on a branch not fully calmed, the mind wanders in whatever direction it desires, do not give that moving and wandering mind an opportunity. If it is free, there is no peace, and if it abides in that, it is just doing what has been done. Therefore, how this mind does not move, in that way strive greatly. Food should be taken like medicine, it must be relied upon, here there should be no anger and no attachment. Only for the sake of turning away hunger, and for the sake of holding the body's wheel. Just as in the forest, bees drink the nectar of flowers,
