Because of impermanence, one should enter the non-entering place with wisdom; if there is no entering place, there is no suffering. Because the body is the root of suffering from various dependencies such as walking and dwelling, therefore, without a body, where would the power of wisdom be? With a body, there is the debt of the body. From where do beings arise for the sake of desire, approaching many great sufferings; from here one can be separated from the dominion of desire, without attachment to suffering, without poverty. Therefore, even among the formless gods, or among the form-possessing beings who possess desires, because it is samsara, the entering place is not peaceful. The enjoyment of the six desires has already existed before. In this way, impermanence and suffering do not exist, seeing the constantly burning three realms, just as a bird's nest is on a tree, and egg-born beings are scorched, it is unreasonable to wish to enter anywhere. The supreme should be known, and others are not objects to be known; the supreme is wisdom, and others are not wisdom; the supreme is action, and others are not accomplishment. This Dharma, people who have families, should not definitely think that it does not exist. Whether one lives in the forest or at home, peace belongs to whoever achieves it. Being oppressed by heat, entering the water, approaching the satisfaction of everything from the whole. Having a lamp, one can see in the darkness, yoga is the measure, age is not the measure, lineage is not the measure. Some people live in the forest, but do not correspond to age, their asceticism is exhausted, and they approach evil destinies. Some people live at home, but their actions are pure, they are cautious, and they approach decisive goodness. In the dark ocean, there are brave waves of wrong views, in the water of craving, beings float uncertainly, the boat of wisdom, mindfulness and diligence are the oars, whoever possesses it, can be liberated from it. In this way, that king who was the most excellent in the land, having obtained the truth of the Dharma from the all-knowing one, generated the thought that kingship is evil, impermanent, and wavering, separated from intoxication, like drinking two drinks, entered Shravasti. The ruler who conquered the land.

Having known this, the other heretics challenged the Ten-Powered One with miraculous powers. Having been entreated by the protectors of the land, the hermits then dwelt in austerity for the sake of miraculous powers, saying, "We are defeated." Thereafter, like the rising of the sun, bright and radiant with a halo, with the stars ablaze, the teachers who were truly joyful and possessed of various forms of intelligence defeated them there with various miraculous powers. Thereafter, the fame that arose from this in Shravasti was filled with the glory of reverence and certainty. He himself ascended from the three realms, and therefore wished to proclaim the Dharma for the benefit of beings. Thereafter, the Able One, with his wisdom, subdued the place where the gods dwell in the heavens, and with excellent years went to the heavens. Having enjoyed the alms ceremony of the king of the gods in the sky, he descended from the world of the gods to Samakashya. There, immeasurable gods and men descended between heaven and earth, attained peace, and with longing, the gods followed. The king who dwelt on the earth, facing upwards towards the sky, bowed his heads to him and held him in great reverence. In the great poem called "The Deeds of the Buddha," the twentieth chapter is called "The Excellent Abode in Jeta Grove." The gods and men who desire liberation, and the mother who has been subdued in the heavens, the Able One subdues all those who are to be tamed, and then he is the cause of the world. In the city in the middle of the five mountains, the radiant Nourisher, the Lord of Life, and Rohini-born and Limb-Giving, the excellent guide then subdued them. The king's son, Fearless, and Glorious Hidden, and the near relatives, Nigrodha and others who possess the end, turned away from their former views. From merely hearing the Dharma, the protector of men, Glorious and Vast, here the Lord of Incense-Holding, named Padma, was thus subdued. Thereafter, the Yaksha Gangdhana, and Hundred-Peaked, and then, the exceedingly increasing conqueror of others, was subdued on the exceedingly increasing mountain. The one who sees qualities, the protector of men, with the retinue of consorts who watch, in the Nourishing Amra Grove, at night he joined them with faith. That
