Wishing to rely on and intend to make the arguments that "there is happiness in the world" cease, thus completely writing and showing intention. Thinking and contemplating, for the sake of alms, the Thus-Gone One, with a mind free from desire for his father's city, entered. From the great poem called "Acts of the Buddha," the nineteenth chapter, the chapter of the meeting of father and son, is complete. Do not slander noble people with pride. Do not destroy the views and asceticism of spiritual friends. Do not engage in noble pretense under the control of afflictions. Do not slightly associate with ignoble views. Do not go to wonders, do not dwell on the path of non-virtue. Do not become fat, do not listen to unpleasant and unbearable things. Do not hold false wisdom for unbearable infamy. Do not steal offerings more than what is seen in the scriptures. Keep the mind equal and do the Dharma. Associate with noble people, make the conduct upright. How to obtain this excellence, and again, Make it widely manifest, do it like that. Having initiated diligence and completely grasped the teachings, Having generated reasoning and suppressed faults, Remembering death correctly, do noble deeds. Having obtained the nature of greatness, obtain the path of peace. Whose fruit is the protection of peace, That action should be done again. This with mind control and the action done itself, Seeing what fruit, creates the seed. Here, who is the supreme evildoer? My custom is that appearance dwells in darkness. The Dharma is primary, the person is not primary. My custom is that darkness dwells in light. Who is the excellent one who enters the ritual of Dharma? My custom is that white goes to the extreme of white. Who is the inferior one who does sinful deeds? My custom is that he also goes to the end of darkness. Therefore, having understood those four aggregates, King, strive, how is it like this here. If you want to go from happiness to happiness, Then, approach the third, not the first. Others do not do good for others, If they do, do not follow them. The decline of children does not exist, one obtains oneself.

O father! The fruition of non-action is not achieved. Non-action is not done in a hundred ways, and non-action does not transform into goodness for others. There is no wealth for the practitioners there, therefore, strive diligently in the rituals of virtuous deeds. Whoever excessively engages in sinful deeds, there is no goodness, and in the living world, its master is not pleased. Having committed sins for oneself, others' children enjoy the fruits themselves. The great king and the four great mountains, in the future, all sentient beings are disturbed. Relying on various activities of Dharma, how is it appropriate, what else is there to do? Old age and decay, sickness and then death, these four come in this way. Just as mountains surround everything, all the world is helplessly enslaved. Then in the future, there is helpless suffering, there is no refuge, there is no manifest struggle, there is no protection. There is no wealth or punishment for doing it, and there is no other medicine except Dharma. If it becomes impermanent like this, in the living world, when lightning intensely enters a moving place, it completely resides on the tip of the hand of death, it is not appropriate to enjoy the fruits of non-Dharma. The mighty and the equal, the human kings and those like them, having gone to the battlefield to fight the gods, the greatly expanded and the definitely contracted, at times, happiness and suffering are their fate. The earth that holds the elements also tends to be exhausted, and the fire of destruction burns Mount Meru in the same way. The great ocean also tends to dry up, like a bubble, alas, the human world. Even with effort, the wind tends to calm down, and the sun sets after afflicting the world. Even after burning, the fire itself tends to extinguish, do you think anything will remain like that? Even if this body is protected for a long time, or nourished with various enjoyments, after staying here for a few days, after showing love to the great beings, it is visibly protected by the hand of the blissful victor.
