What kind of person does not see the end of desire? O King, my mind is not pleased with samsara. I should not be deceived in order to fully enter the fruit. Like trees watered by rain from the clouds. The complete entry that is everywhere is deception. Longing to see the Sugata who speaks of liberation and possesses the wheel. Therefore, I have come here entirely for him. May you who treat the people become kind, he will depart. Please forgive my insignificant matters. Protect like the god Indra, protect constantly like the sun. Protect with merit, protect the land, protect auspiciousness here. Protect life, be protected by the noble ones, and the sacred sons. Protect glory, may you, the king, protect the Dharma. Born from the blows of the snow enemy, born from birth. What kind of twice-born one, can the body go to liberation? With the enemy of the snow enemy, destroy the enemy in the house. Inwardly, what kind of mind can go to liberation? With palms together, the one who treats the people (king) said: May you get what you want without hindrance. May everything that is done be obtained in due time. You will also take care of me. Having said this, made a firm vow, to the one who treats the land (king). Then, he went to the place of asceticism that liberates all. Having seen him completely leave, felt surprised. The one who treats the people (king) also went to the city of the gathering of mountains. In the great poem called "The Deeds of the Buddha," The chapter on reproaching desire, the eleventh is complete. Then, as if the body were full. Like the moon in a sugarcane grove. The Sugata abiding in peace. The wheel (Rtsibs phur) approached the abode. With a lineage skilled in the arts. Having seen from afar, with a noble posture. Said, "Welcome," Approached his presence. The two of them mutually. Asked if the elements were in balance. On the seat of the clean tree ascetic. Abiding in a clean place. With much vast respect. As if viewers were drinking. The prince who treats the people dwelt there, The supreme Sugata spoke thus. As I know peace. Will surely depart from home. With a rope satiated by double drinking

Having cut the bonds of affection, you have come. Your mind is wise, And possesses complete steadfastness. Like the fruit of a poisonous tree, You have come, forsaking glory. Like a rosary of leftover enjoyments, Having bestowed glory upon the children, What wonder is it that one of decaying age, Who protects the land, comes from the forest? My conduct is indeed wondrous, That in the prime of youth, you, Abiding in the place of enjoyment of the land, Have come without enjoying glory. Therefore, for understanding this Dharma, You are a vessel of holiness, Having blessed the boat of wisdom, Swiftly cross the ocean of suffering. Whenever a disciple understands, He enters the treatise at the right time, Through profound karma and diligence, You are not my delusion. Thus, the words of Scattered Spokes, Having heard the words of the righteous man, Being exceedingly delighted, He spoke twice. Even though the meaning is not accomplished, yet this, Is now as if the meaning has been accomplished. This one who is free from attachment, Has appeared before you, the holy one. Desiring to see, like light, Desiring to liberate, like a boat, Desiring to cross over, like a guide, I know by seeing you. From the fears of old age and death, If you consider speaking, Therefore, it is fitting to speak. Thus, Scattered Spokes, by the young, Great Self, being urged, The treatise of his own, Assuredly spoke in brief. How it is cyclic existence, How it is certainly reversed, The supreme tenet of those who listen, Please listen to this of mine. Nature and transformation, Birth, death, and old age, For a while, it is called mind, Know that steadfast mind. Among them, nature is the knowable, Please know the knowledge of nature. The nature of the five elements, Intelligence and non-clarity. Please know what is called transformation, The objects and the senses, Hands, feet, and so on, Hips, loins, and likewise the mind. For knowing this field, It is called the knower of the field, The knower of the field, as self, Those who consider themselves say. The ascetic with disciples, Thinks this is very realized. Realization with sons also, Birth
