ན་པའི་རི་བོས་བརྟན་ཉིད་འདོར་ན་ཡང༌། །དེ་ཉིད་མ་མཐོང་ཡུལ་ལ་ཁ་བལྟས་དབང་པོ་ནི། །ཁྱིམ་རྣམས་དག་ལ་སོ་སོ་སྐྱེ་བོ་མི་བསྙེན་ཏོ། །བདག་ནི་འབར་བར་གྱུར་པའི་མེ་ལ་འཇུག་པ་སྟེ། །དོན་མ་བྱས་པར་ཁྱིམ་གྱི་གཞི་ལ་རབ་མི་འཇུག །དེ་ལྟར་ཐུགས་རྒྱལ་ལྡན་དེས་དམ་བཅའ་མཛད་གྱུར་ཅིང༌། །ཇི་ལྟར་འདོད་བཞིན་བཞེངས་ནས་ངར་འཛིན་མེད་པར་གཤེགས། །དེ་ནས་མཆི་མ་དང་བཅས་བློན་ དང་གཉིས་སྐྱེས་གཉིས། །དེ་ཡི་བསྟན་པ་ཉིད་དང་ངེས་པ་ཐོས་གྱུར་ནས། །གཏི་མུག་བཞིན་ལྡན་རྗེས་སུ་སོང་ནས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ག །དལ་བུས་སོང་ནས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཉིད་དུ་སོད་པར་གྱུར། །དེ་ནས་དེ་ལ་བརྩེ་དང་མི་སྐྱོང་ལ་གུས་ལས། །དེ་དག་ལྟོས་བྱས་རབ་ཏུ་སོང་ཞིང་གནས་གྱུར་ལ། །གསལ་ཞིང་སྣང་བས་ཉི་མ་བལྟ་བར་དཀའ་བ་ལྟར། །དེ་ནི་ལམ་དུ་ལྟ་བར་མ་ནུས་འདོར་བར་མིན། །མཆོག་ཏུ་གཤེགས་ཏེ་གཤེགས་པ་ཤེས་ཕྱིར་དེ་དག་གིས། །སོ་པའི་སྐྱེས་བུ་གཙང་མ་སྦས་པ་རྣམས་བྱས་ནས། །དགའ་ཞིང་སྲས་པོ་འདོད་པའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་སོང་ནས། །ཇི་ལྟར་བལྟའམ་ཞེས་ནི་ཇི་ལྟར་ཡང་སོང་ངོ༌། །སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་སྤྱོད་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་སྙན་དང་གས་ཆེན་པོ་ལས། གཞོན་ནུ་རྗེས་སུ་ཚོལ་བའི་ལེའུ་སྟེ་དགུ་པའོ།། །།སྐུ་སྟོད་རྒྱས་ཤིང་རྒྱ་ཆེན་རྒྱལ་པོའི་སྲས་པོ་སྟེ། །བསྲེག་བྱ་དང་བསྔགས་བདག་པོ་དེ་དག་རྣམས་སྤངས་ཏེ། །དབའ་རླབས་གཡོ་བའི་ཆུ་བོ་གང་གཱ་རྒལ་ནས་ནི། །དཔལ་དང་ལྡན་པའི་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ཏུ་གཤེགས་པར་གྱུར། །རི་རྣམས་དག་གིས་ལེགས་པར་སྦས་དང་བརྒྱན་པ་དང༌། །དགེ་དང་དཀའ་ཐུབ་གཏེར་བས་གཟུང་དང་གཙང་བ་སྟེ། །ཞི་བ་རང་བྱུང་ཚངས་པ་མཐོ་རིས་ལོགས་སུ་བཞིན། །རི་ལྔས་མཚན་པའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་རབ་ཏུ་ཐོབ་པར་གྱུར། །ཟབ་མོར་གྱུར་པའི་མདངས་དར་དེ་ཡི་ལུགས་གསལ་བ། །སྐྱེས་བུ་རྣམས་ནི་ཤིན་ཏུ་གནོན་པ་མཐོང་གྱུར་ནས། །ཁྱུ་མཆོག་རྒྱལ་མཚན་དེ་ཡི་བརྟུལ་ཞུགས་བརྟན་པ་བཞིན། །དེར་ནི་དེ་ཚེ་སྐྱེ་བོ་རྣམས་ནི་ཡ་མཚན་གྱུར། །དེ་རབ་མཐོང་ནས་གཞན་གང་མ་སོང་དེ་གནས་ཤིང༌། །དེར་ནི་གང་ཞིག་ལམ་ན་གནས་དེ་རྗེས་འགྲོ་ཞིང༌། །གང་ཞིག་སྐྱེན་པོར་སོང་སྟེ་བརྟན་པོར་སོང་གྱུར་ལ། །ཁ་ཅིག་བསྡད་པ་གང་ཡིན་དེ་ནི་ལངས་པའོ། །སྐྱེ་བོ་ཁ་ཅིག་དེ་ལ་མཆོད་པའི་ལག་པ་ཡིས། །བསྟི་སྟང་བྱས་ནས་ཁ་ཅིག་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཞིང༌། །ཁ་ཅིག་གཉེན་པོའི་ཚིག་གིས་མངོན་པར་སྟོད་བྱེད་ཅིང༌། །ཁ་ཅིག་དེ་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་མཆོད་ནས་སོང་བར་གྱུར། །དེ་རབ་མཐོང་ནས་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཆ་ལུ

Even if the steadfast mountain were to falter, Those senses that gaze upon the unseen realm. To those households, individual ordinary beings do not draw near. I shall enter into the blazing fire, Without accomplishing the purpose, I shall not enter the foundation of a household. Thus, he who possessed a victorious mind made a vow, Rising as he wished, he departed without self-grasping. Thereafter, with tears, the minister And the two twice-born ones, Having heard of his teaching and determination, Followed after him, as if bewildered, experiencing suffering, Slowly proceeding, they eventually arrived at the city. Thereafter, out of affection and care for him, and out of respect, They gazed upon him, went forth greatly, and remained. Like the sun shining brightly, difficult to gaze upon, They could not look at him on the road, nor did they wish to abandon him. To know that he had departed supremely, they Arranged for hidden, pure spies. Joyfully they went to the king who desired a son, And however they were asked, they reported everything as it was. From the great poem called "The Deeds of the Buddha," the ninth chapter, "Searching for the Youth." The prince, with a full and broad upper body, Having abandoned those sacrificial offerings and lords of praise, Having crossed the Ganges River, turbulent with waves, He went to the auspicious city of Rājagṛha. Well-hidden and adorned by the mountains, Guarded and pure by the treasures of virtue and asceticism, Peaceful, natural, Brahma, like another side of the high heavens, He attained the city known by the five mountains. The deep and radiant silk, clearly displaying his manner, Having seen him, the people were greatly astonished. Like the steadfast conduct of the king of elephants' banner, At that time, the people were amazed. Having seen him, whoever did not go elsewhere remained there, There, whoever was on the road followed him, Some went quickly, some went steadily, Some sat down, some stood up. Some people greeted him with worshipping hands, Some bowed their heads, Some praised him with affectionate words, Some greatly worshipped him and then departed.
