Saying there is another reliance, they do not praise the practice of liberation. Just as the heat of fire and the wetness of water, thus fully entering, they say it is self-nature. Good and non-good, existence and non-existence, some praise saying they come from self-nature. Because all these come from self-nature, therefore effort is also meaningless. Those who definitely enjoy with the senses, the liking and disliking for objects, those who are joined by liking and diseases, what effort is there for those? That is self-nature. Water goes near to extinguish fire, rays of light dry up water, the various elements that truly abide in the body, becoming one, lead beings. Those who with hands, feet, abdomen, back, head, etc., definitely accomplish the essence that has gone into the womb, when self-nature combines with it, the wise say that is born from self-nature. The various essences of birds and wild animals, who makes the thorns sharp? All these entries are from self-nature, there is no desire, from where does effort come? Similarly, others say it is born from the Lord, there, what is the meaning of the entry of man? What is the cause for entering beings, and what is the cause for returning? Some say it is the characteristic of the self, completely arising and the end of existence, they say it arises without effort, they say liberation is attained through effort. The sacrifice of the gods, the Vedas of the sages, the sons are not the debts of the father, the sons are men. Whoever has liberation, that is liberation, born together with the three debts. Therefore, through this order of ritual actions, the wise say that liberation is attained through effort, even if there is effort, but through suppression, those who desire liberation only obtain fatigue. Therefore, if there is respect for peace and liberation, then how should one approach the words spoken in the rituals with reason? Thus it approaches rationality, all the suffering of the lord of men.

Becomes. Entering the house from the ascetic forest, what fault of wisdom has entered you? Even your father alone did not enter your thoughts there, and the former ones also went from the forest to their own houses. Living in the ascetic forest, surrounded by sons, King Amarisha entered the city, likewise the eminent ones who destroyed the earth, having come from the ascetic forest, the pleasing one spoke thus. Likewise, stones and the name of the master's tree, the forest dweller together with his sons entered the city, the abode of the Brahma's hermit and the capable one, together with the fire offering, the gods with boundaries held auspiciousness. In this way, dwelling well in Dharma and fame, Having abandoned the forests and gone to the houses, therefore, for the sake of Dharma, from the ascetic forest, to strive diligently in the house is without fault. Then, having heard the words of the minister who had done the joy and benefit of the king who protects men, not inferior, not confused, not greedy, steadfast and abiding, the king's son spoke the words not hastily. Whatever doubt there is here, whether it exists or not, I have no certainty here from the words of others. Having realized that through asceticism and peace, I myself shall hold fast to what is certain here. I am unable to take views that harm each other, are unclear, and give rise to doubt. Just as in the darkness a blind man guides a blind man, who among the wise would go by the cause of another? Even though that is not seen, nevertheless, when I doubt about good and bad, good is the superior wisdom, and because there is no fruit, the nature of goodness is also supreme, and there is no happiness in the nature of reproach. Having seen this teaching without distinction, understand well what those with measure have said. Understand that the measured is extremely inferior to fault, and by extremely inferior fault one speaks untruth. You have spoken to me about the purpose of entering the house, giving examples such as the pleasing one, etc. Those are not valid, they are powerless in those Dharmas, and for the sake of validity, the ascetic practices are all exhausted. Even so, the sun may fall to the earth, and snow and
