Then, the one named Sunlight Eye, in the moment of clairvoyance, the best of men saw the place of asceticism of the child who abandons evil. He saw the disheartened, drowsy wild animals, and the birds dwelling in their own places. Having seen this, it was as if he had rested, as if he had accomplished the task. This was because there was no satiety, and also for the sake of offering asceticism, and also for the sake of protecting himself, he dismounted from the horse. Having dismounted, he also touched it, rejoicing as if washing with his eyes. Assuredly, he said to the horse and the one named Desire: "This is as fast as a flying bird, and it follows the fast-goer. This has shown my strength, and also peace, and has shown respect to me. From all aspects, although it is another meaning, it is engraved in your heart, which master do you like? This is the same for those like you. For those without respect, there is ability, and for those without ability, there is respect. Possessing respect and ability, it is difficult to find someone like you. Therefore, this is the action of great fortune, this action of yours makes me happy. Whatever you think of, it is even more excellent than the fruit. Which being is not an adherent of dwelling in the fruit? Conversely, one's own beings, mostly become the beings of others. For the sake of lineage, one raises a son, and for the sake of raising, one begets a father, with the thought of desire, attachment arises, without an author there is no self. Having said much, in short, you have well accomplished my great joy, leading the horse back, I have obtained the place of desire." Having said these words, in order to praise the Great Hand, he took off all the ornaments from all places, and gave them to this compassionate one. From the headdress, he took out the bright jewel, accepted the function of the lamp, in the posture of the sun piercer, he remained saying these words. "Desire, take this jewel, repeatedly place it on your head, do not nurture it, in order to dispel suffering from all aspects, I pray that you make your mind happy. For the sake of the decay of birth and death, I have obtained the forest of asceticism, not because of thirst for the heavenly realms, nor because of lack of love, nor because of anger. Therefore, since it has appeared in this way, it is not appropriate to grieve for me. Even after gathering for a long time, it is by time that...

It will not change. Because it is certain to separate, therefore, for the sake of liberation, my mind, again from one's own relatives, will not be completely separated. In order to abandon sorrow, one must resolve to renounce, I should not feel sorrow. The root of sorrow lies in attachment to desires, one should feel sorrow for those who have attachments. This was also famous among the former people, and it is indeed present here with us. Therefore, from what should be given, one should not be sad, one must walk the right path. For people, back and forth, giving with wealth, becoming the master of Dharma on earth, is also difficult to find. If someone says that going to the forest at this time is not appropriate, even if life is wavering, there is no time limit for Dharma. Therefore, I must accumulate merit right now, because the enemy of death is there, trust the living, peaceful you and others, report to me, the owner of the land, just as I do not remember, strive in this way. Furthermore, I have no merit, you should say to the masterless, from having no merit, abandon love, from abandoning love, there is no sorrow. Having heard these words, the wish was disturbed by suffering, with tearful words of reverence, clasping hands, he replied, Lord, your thought is, giving fatigue to relatives, just like drinking water together by the river, changes my mind. With a determination like yours, who would not have tears? Even a heart of iron and stone, what more to say of being moved by love? Where is this very young person, suitable to live in immeasurable palaces? The sharp sprouts of auspicious grass, where is the land of the ascetic forest? Even after hearing your efforts, this horse that I obtained, my lord, that is because of power, just like being driven by a god. Your firm determination, if you know freedom, is for what? Approaching and taking away the fast-walking horse, is the place of sorrow for the Shakya clan. Just as a person without property possesses the true Dharma, the king's old love, and abandoning the beloved son, that great act is not appropriate. The sacred act is destroyed, completely through correct generation, the exhausted second mother, and the goddess should not be spoken of. Just like a eunuch obtains glory.
