From the earth, lotus-eyed lotuses arise, Residing on one side of the lotus face, Abiding like the splendor of a lotus. As if urging their own abode, The eyes say, "Deceived!" Some with obvious enticement, Sing meaningful, sweet songs. Other women, with kind faces, Fully draw the mature bow, With encircling gestures and play, Imitate this (Cupid's) behavior. Some plump, round, and full-breasted women, Cause their earrings to sway with laughter, "May you surely obtain!" thus, Noble women say, laughing. Others, wanting to walk like that, Are bound by gardens of garlands. Some sweet women with adorned braids, Are seized by ropes of speech. Some seeking to depart alone, From the pride of the mango tree, "Whose is this flower?" they ask, Disturbed and agitated by arrogance. Some, with gait and attire, Having acted like men, "May you conquer this land!" Women say to the defeated. Then, some women with swaying eyes, Smell the blue lotus, With slightly arrogant words, Speak to the self-born who does not nurture. Behold, the Lord Mango Tree, The flowers filled with the scent of honey, The cuckoo here making sounds, Seems as if confined in a golden cage. Behold this Ashoka tree, Increasing the sorrow of the desirous, The bee here making sounds, Seems as if burned by fire. The mango tree closely embraces. Behold, the Tilaka tree, The woman's body turned golden, Seems like a man wearing white clothes. Behold the fully blossomed Kuravaka, The untouched crimson light, The nail light of the women, Seems defeated and smoking. Behold this young Ashoka tree, Adorned with leaves, Her hand is beautiful, Seems to stay in wonder. Behold the pond, growing on the bank, Closely surrounded by willows, Like women wearing white silk clothes, Extremely intoxicated, lying down. For women, self is very important.
