From the ground up, the lords of the earth also fully deliberated. Having heard the signs of his certain return, we all thought to completely abandon him. To those who especially clean the roads, even if they are angry and agitated, they will not be punished with severe punishments. Again, they made deep investigations into the special and superior qualities possessed by that prince, and the land in which he lived, and thinking that he would become attached because of the agitation of the senses, we sought refuge, saying that we would not abandon him. When the sound spread and the things of the senses could not make this prince happy in the palace, they thought to let him enjoy other pleasures, and especially instructed him to watch the outside scenes. Because they understood the prince's intention from love, they did not consider any faults related to attachment, and alternately appointed those clever women who were proficient in the arts to serve him. Then, especially, the king's road was carefully decorated and thoroughly inspected. The king changed the chariot and the charioteer, and let the young man go out to play. When the king's son left in this way, those great deities transformed a long-dead corpse and carried it to the road, only the charioteer and the young man saw it, no one else saw it. Then, the charioteer, who was the king's son, said: Those weak and dull people follow behind, even if they are decorated with gorgeous ornaments, they are smoking everywhere, who is that person being carried by four people? Then, those deities who are pure in essence and live in the pure land, overwhelmed the charioteer's heart with their power. Although it should not be said explicitly, this matter must be reported in detail to the meaningful master. He has lost the qualities of wisdom, senses, and life, like sleeping, without a name, and has become grass and trees. Even those diligent people who have raised and protected him, who is that person who is finally abandoned by suffering and pain? In this way, after hearing the words spoken by the charioteer, he moved slightly and said to him: Does this law only apply to this life? Or is this ending what all beings will face? Then, very

I humbly report this to you. The ultimate end is that all these beings are the same. Whether they are lowly, middling, or great, the world will inevitably experience complete decay. Then, when this son of the lord of men was told of death, he immediately felt dejected, embracing the wooden top of the chariot with his arms, and spoke with a melodious voice: This is indeed the ultimate end of beings. People in the world abandon fear and become indulgent. People's hearts think they are strong, and those who abide in the path also abide in such a nature. Therefore, charioteer, turn the chariot back. This is not the right time for us to wander on the earth. Knowing that the moment of decay has arrived, what kind of sentient beings would still be indulgent here? When the son of the lord of men said this, the charioteer did not turn the chariot back. Although he was all-knowing, he still took the lord of men to the forest where lotuses bloomed. After that, he saw a forest full of blooming flowers, vitality, young bees flying, completely surrounded, full of joy, intoxicating cuckoos singing, possessing countless palaces, a beautiful pond adorned with lotuses, and a blessed forest like a joyful garden. Like a city surrounded by gods, like the land of the master who decorates the city, like the capable one (Shakyamuni Buddha) with pure conduct who is not afraid of obstacles, like a collection of supreme limbs spreading everywhere, the son of the lord of men who does not raise offspring, was then brought to that forest by force. In the great poem called "The Conduct of the Buddha," the chapter on the arising of renunciation is the third. Then, starting from that garden, those women who turned their eyes in amazement, as if they had obtained a husband, came before the son of the lord of men. After arriving, they gazed at him with eyes full of wonder, and with hands like a treasure of lotuses, they performed true actions. With clear eyes, as if drinking, their hearts were filled with unwavering joy. Those women who were stirred by desire and whose minds were distracted stood around him. Their faces were adorned with innate ornaments and beautiful appearances. Those women thought, this is simply the arrival of the god of love. Peaceful.
