In order to go to the new garden, One day, while riding in a chariot, he encountered a person who was hungry and afflicted with illness. Seeing him weakened by a long illness, he suppressed all directions, and his heart was filled with sorrow. When he saw others suffering, he immediately felt the same, like the mirror of a saint, like the flame of the sun. He went to all the cities, streets, and doorways, providing food, medicine, shelter, and bedding to the sick. Then, he arranged for skilled caregivers for them. Because for the sick, the best care is the first step in treatment. Patient, compassionate, tolerant, and eager to heal, caregivers who do not hesitate out of friendship are difficult to find. The king summoned those designated caregivers and told them to do their best to treat the illnesses.

侍奉等之日。国王应安置善作上妙卧具之殿堂。病者之珍宝阶梯，具莲花及无垢水之莲池。医师医药之圆满，亦当极为成办。今彼等之安乐，是依于汝等，此乃我之意念。以极冷之寒冷平息热恼，以舒适之温暖，以冷水止息渴爱，以屡屡适量之良药，汝等将得痊愈，如是宣说悦意之语，以玩笑之次第，平息不悦。因此，汝等当屡屡以言语忆念病苦所逼迫而倒地者。无垢善逝之医师恩赐，以及殊胜之正法教诫，亦为解脱轮回长久热病所苦者之救护，寂静之甘露。如是，以财物如雨降之国王教敕彼等。彼等前往，如是而作，为一切病者之安乐。其后，彼等以善语，彼等以善语，彼等之心意已适悦。国王亲自前往探视脱离疾病者。

The day of service and so on. The king should arrange a palace with well-made and excellent bedding. A jeweled staircase for the sick, a lotus pond with lotuses and pure water. The perfection of physicians and medicines should also be greatly accomplished. Now, their happiness depends on you, this is my thought. Pacify the heat with extreme cold, with comfortable warmth, quench thirst with cold water, and with repeated and appropriate medicine, you will be healed, thus declaring pleasant words, pacify displeasure with a series of jokes. Therefore, you should repeatedly remember with words those who are oppressed by illness and fall to the ground. The flawless physician's grace of the Sugata, and the excellent Dharma teachings, are also the protection and the nectar of peace for those who suffer from the long-lasting fever of samsara. Thus, the king, who showered wealth like rain, commanded them. They went and acted accordingly, for the happiness of all the sick. Afterwards, they spoke good words, they spoke good words, their minds were pleased. The king himself went to visit those who were freed from illness.

Instructed, in order to heal all the sick, went and spoke as instructed. Then those who were cured of their illnesses, their minds were pleased by speaking of virtue. In order to see those who had left, the lord of men himself came outside. A hundred thousand kotis countless, the light of the merit of Shakra, the lord of freedom! A chariot driven by six-tusked white elephants, beautifully adorned! The golden lotus jewels, comfortable to the touch, swaying and moving, bees swarming, singing beautifully, a path where heavenly lotuses bloom. In those lotus jewels, the essence of nectar is fully present. From afar, the goddesses show the coming of the lord of men. In order to know the ocean of nectar of his steadfastness, the lord of the gods, transforming into the form of a blind man, appeared to him and said: "O King, I am blind, born without seeing the light. I have come to seek your protection, in order to save all beings. By your power, these sick people have been healed. Your fame spreads in all directions."
