Fearing errors, there is no need to annotate those parts that remain still in the dust. For those with wisdom and diligence, they are allowed to rewrite the annotations, just as preparing the printing manuscript. Arranged for publication by Sakya local administrator Trinley Gyatso, the proofreader was Lharampa Gendun Choephel, the translator was Kunga Wangden, the printer was Jampalingpa Lekden and his four students, and the skilled printers, patrons Tsering, and others, diligently worked with body, speech, and mind. The work commenced on the auspicious day of the fifth day of the fifth month of the Wood Male Dragon year (1964), a Thursday, with the constellation Gyal. It was successfully completed on the fifteenth day of the last star month of the Wood Female Snake year (1965). By this merit, may all sentient beings learn like the teacher Buram Shingpa, who taught the stages of the path, and thus attain enlightenment and enjoy the feast of manifesting the Dharmakaya. In the Sanskrit parts of this book, there are many textual errors due to the scribe's mistakes. When I reached the middle part of the proofreading, I had already corrected about forty pages. The pure vision of the Sakya local administrator Tenpa Tsering and other officials was very strong. They said that this Potala version was a reliable version proofread by many scholars, and it was impossible for there to be any errors, so they ordered twice not to make any changes. Therefore, I had no right to make changes and could only leave it as it was. In the future, if those with wisdom make corrections, it will be a purification of the Dharma, please consider it. This is what Tsultrim Rin said. The Jataka of the Bodhisattva - The Wish-Fulfilling Vine. Auspicious Power.
