ཏྐ་ཎྜཤྩ་ནྡྲོཚུ་ཀ་ཨི་བ་ད་དྷིཿ། །Śaṃkā biṣaṇṇa hṛdayaścintākrānta ibā bravīta. Aho bata kiṃ adyāpi viccho jīmūta vāhanaḥ. Na dṛśya giri bāgyī tok ni btsun mo dang. Lhan cig mna' ma dang ldan gnas. Chu gter zla ba 'dod pa bzhin. Bu ni blta bar 'dod gyur cing. Snying la dogs pa gnas pa yis. Bsam pas non pa bzhin smras pa. Kye ma ci zhig da dung yang. Bu ni sprin gyi bzhon pa dag. The auspicious one, with a heart troubled by doubt and overwhelmed by thoughts, spoke thus. Alas! What is it that even today, Jīmūtavāhana, the rider of clouds, is not seen? He dwells on the mountain peak with his wives and brides. Like the moon in the ocean, he desires to see his son. With doubt dwelling in his heart, and overwhelmed by thoughts, he spoke: Alas! Why is it that even now, my son, the rider of clouds, wanders and gazes at the edge of the great mountain? The radiant Garuḍa appears frequently on the cliffs of this mountain. Its light illuminates the sky, causing terror. Fear weakens the body, and the limbs falter. The greedy enemies pierce everywhere. At this moment, an ominous sound, causing fear, arises. Thus, with doubts greatly increased and dwelling in fear and apprehension, the crest jewel, stained with blood, fell from the sky before him. Seeing that inauspicious omen, the flesh, hair, and blood before him, caused confusion. Bāpa hyaṃ sa ha sai ba mu mo ha saḥ. Cūḍā maṇīṃ cyuta dṛṣṭvā patyurmmalaya batyāpi. Papāta mo hā bhi hatā śva śvāsa ha ma hī tale. Śanaiḥ saṃjñāṃ samāsādya jāyā māśvāsya sa snuṣaṃ. Blo bā tsa saṃ śa ye dhyātvā dhīmān bidyā dharā dhipaḥ. Paśyā mya haṃ svayaṃ gatvā batsaṃ nardana cāriṇaṃ. Gho rā garuḍa bele yende ha sandeha dāyinī. Cūḍā maṇi ścyutaśca yanni ścā yā ya na kalpate. Seeing the crest jewel fall, Malayavatī also fell in confusion, along with her daughter-in-law, onto the ground. Slowly regaining consciousness, the wife comforted her daughter-in-law. The wise lord of the Vidyādharas, pondering in his mind, said: I shall go myself to seek my wandering son. This terrible appearance of Garuḍa is causing great doubt. The falling of the crest jewel does not bode well.

Alas! The glorious Vidyadhara master, with hesitation, spoke well: The son is the vehicle of the clouds, I will go and see for myself. This time of the Garuda is so terrifying, it causes hesitation in the body. Even if the jewel on the crown falls, it should not be considered निश्चित(ngesa pa nyid du, Devanagari: निश्चित, Romanized Sanskrit: niścita, literal meaning: certain) lightly. This is the powerful one, namely tārkhya bha ṣa māṇa sya bho gi naḥ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning: the enjoyer of power). e vaṃ bi dhā pa taṃ tye va ma na yaḥ pha ṇi nāṃ sa dā (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning: thus arranging the fall, the minds of the snakes are always like this). utpā ta bā ta nir gha tas ta ra lās tā ra kā i ba (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning: struck by a sudden wind, swaying like stars).
