Having smiled, he spoke to his brothers, "This monk, who is at fault for drinking, who is marked by his robes and begging bowl, is said to be taking lives. This is what I think in my heart." After shaking, the second one, Kundara, said, "I want to throw this monk into the water and kill him." Then the third sinner, Sundaraka, said, "This monk should be quickly thrown into the cesspool." The fourth, with a cruel mind, Kandara, said, "The monk's feet should be cut off with a razor." As they spoke, sinful thoughts arose in their hearts. Whatever they desire, they will receive the corresponding fruit in the next life. Blinded by greed, they only see wealth; blinded by anger, they only see enemies. Blinded by desire, they only see the object of desire; blinded by arrogance, they see nothing. The various changes produced by wealth, those who cannot control themselves become addicted to them. The happiness of the arrogant is actually the root of afflictions. They are angry for no reason and burn for no reason. They kill for no reason and accept everything for no reason. Those who are deluded by ignorance, unable to distinguish between good and bad, and are extremely satisfied, like livestock, become arrogant.

This fourth, embodiment of essence, Was imprisoned and killed by his son. Like wealth with interest, Karma is fully enjoyed. Kaṃ. Thus, those noble and ignoble ones who were defeated by delusion, Whatever action devoid of happiness is immediately accomplished here, Those who abide improperly are with tears, They experience incomplete sorrow, not small, powerless. Embodiment of essence, this is how the previous life began, the result of unbearable poison, the story of Bimbisara. In various assemblies, monks clearly heard this, And with the marks of a hundred sufferings, they thought it was their own mind. This was done by Gewai Wangpo, in the Bodhisattva Avadana Kalpalata, the forty-fifth branch of the Avadana of Ajatashatru killing his father. Even though blinded by the darkness of disrespect, And even though completely separated from the abode of glory, Kṛrbbādaśāmi ba niśāma ni bāhya padmaḥ svāmeva saṃpa

Dāmu Paiti Punargunaḍhyaḥ. In Shravasti, when the Sugata was residing in Jeta Grove, Anathapindika's Garden, Devadatta, filled with extreme hatred, contemplated: 'Like a lotus, having passed through a perilous night, one again possesses qualities and attains one's own perfection.' When the Sugata was residing in Jeta Grove in Shravasti, Devadatta, filled with extreme hatred, contemplated: 'That one born from the Shakya clan (Sanskrit: tāmanuṣyaśākyavaṃśajaḥ), through the power of merit, has become the teacher to be venerated by the three realms (Sanskrit: prāptaḥpuṇyapra-bhāvena trijagatpūjyātāṃ jinaḥ).
