Seeing that Brahmin who was emaciated from hunger, resembling a Rakshasa in appearance, a master of mantras who appeared angry even when not, he thought with fear and remained there. This mantra holder wants to take me as his slave by the power of mantras. Therefore, who should I seek refuge in? Thinking thus, after a moment, he looked around in all directions. Not very far from that water reservoir, a person whose body was emaciated by asceticism, possessing the wealth of asceticism, lived alone. A fisherman named Padmacana approached that person possessing the wealth of asceticism and served him every day. Then, that Naga investigated who the close family of that mantra speaker was. This king will not protect him, because the accomplishment of mantras is not asceticism. Therefore, this fisherman has obtained an opportunity. Go to him and quickly and sincerely pray. Then, that fisherman offered fruits to that ascetic, speaking pleasant words, and plastered the surroundings of the house made of leaves. In order to have the fisherman come to his abode, he manifested as a Brahmin with patterned decorations. Approaching him with auspicious words, he said: I hope you will ask me some questions. That hunter also bowed and said to him: Venerable one, please ask. The one with patterned decorations said: These water reservoirs are illuminated by hundreds of lightning flashes, and the gates in all directions are revealed. Like a mountain of eye medicine, located in a prosperous land, by whose power will water be provided? By attending to the elderly, one obtains that very virtue. This king will surely follow the Dharma. Because he is free from the fear of famine. This country is always rich in flowers, fruits, and trees. The front yards of the gardens, which never cease, are beautifully decorated. Living in other places, possessing many herds of cattle that live by herding. Ruling from such a country, following the path of righteousness. There will never be any disturbances. Padmacana said: Venerable one must have arrived suddenly, which is why you do not know and ask in this way. Listen.

其一，此大海之中，名為瑞紮的龍王各自安住。以此威力，此地因水之聚集而沉重，閃電的光芒照亮了諸法的門戶。如水晶之軸般清澈的水流，其持水者每年都能成就一切穀物，如是說。瑞紮說道：若真是這樣，你既知曉言語，我便對你說真實之義。我，即是那衰敗了的食肉者之主瑞紮。因此，你應成為我的救護。如是說。隨後，獵人因完全的激動與驚奇而行禮，並極其恭敬地說道：如是，具力、自信、自在的您，那困難會是什麼呢？如是說。如是，具力的您也會有困難，自信之主，那會是什麼呢？具有顯現之智慧，貪戀殺害山鹿，為何會依賴我而走向毀滅呢？瑞紮說道：此乃你應當觀看之物，即位於樹下，正在念誦並安坐，所見之強者。我將被此人以明咒之力，從此水域召喚，並欲帶往國王權勢之大域。如是說。以臂膀之勤奮而具足，供養食火者，持拉達爾獠牙念誦，剎那間便能驅動水者。此乃堅定如山鹿，獠牙銳利者。請以塗有毒藥之箭矢，刺穿要害。獵人說道：如我們這般的人，難以成辦此事，因此，請安樂而住，食肉者之主，請返回您自己的住所。如是說。隨後，瑞紮，具自信者，進入水域。獵人來到漁夫的家中，度過夜晚，在黎明時分，前往湖邊，見到了明咒者。他將雙膝置於地上，洗浴後將洗過的衣服分置於四肢上。看到燃燒芥末粉末，便依靠樹林，暫且觀望。暫且觀察這位明咒者的咒語力量是否真實。

In one of these great lakes, the dragon king named Ristra dwells separately. By his power, this land is heavy with the gathering of waters, and the rays of lightning illuminate the gates of Dharma. The streams of water, as pure as crystal axes, their water-holders are said to accomplish all grains each year. Ristra said: If it is so, since you know speech, I shall speak the truth to you. I am the lord of the flesh-eaters, Ristra, who has declined. Therefore, you should become my refuge. So he said. Then the hunter, with complete agitation and wonder, bowed and said with great reverence: Thus, powerful, confident, and sovereign one, what difficulty could there be? So he said. Thus, even you, the powerful one, have difficulties, lord of confidence, what could that be? Possessing the wisdom of appearance, attached to killing deer, why would you rely on me and go to ruin? Ristra said: This is what you should observe, the strong one who is under the tree, reciting and sitting. I am to be summoned by this one from this water realm by the power of mantra, and he intends to take me to the great domain of the king's power. So he said. Endowed with the diligence of arms, worshiping the fire-eater, holding the Latar tusk and reciting, in an instant he can drive the water-holder. This one is firm like a deer, with sharp tusks. Pierce the vital point with an arrow smeared with poison. The hunter said: It is difficult for people like us to accomplish this task, therefore, please dwell in peace, lord of the flesh-eaters, please return to your own home. So he said. Then Ristra, the confident one, entered the water realm. The hunter came to the fisherman's house, spent the night, and at dawn, went to the lake and saw the mantra speaker. He placed both knees on the ground, having bathed, he divided the washed clothes among his limbs. Seeing the burning mustard powder, he relied on the forest and watched for a while. He would wait and see if the mantra power of this mantra speaker was true.
