To sentient beings who rely on utter tranquility and are definitely connected! The offering of foam, interwoven with clusters of lotus petals, May it be blessed as if born from the waves of the ocean. Please purify my water! Thus manifesting and speaking, Six-legged bees climb the ripening tree, Made with clusters of lotuses, By the rising of the jewel's light, There, they are submerged. The scepter, the rainbow, and the water, Exist instantaneously without interruption. That vast lake, Especially located deep underground, With open lotuses and utpalas, I feel as pure as myself. Then, in that place of water with great lotuses, a great serpent with a naturally violent and defiled mind, knowing the goodness born of their nature, recited these hot letters related to great poison every day: "You who are empty-bellied and truly rely, Patient ones, why do you turn against me? Even in the deep water, in the abode of the water lord, The fire of the water horse's face will not cool down. For one who is pervasive, wrathful, and consumes burning things, It is not appropriate to proclaim patience. Alas! You deceive me and beings greatly with your great falsehood. Whoever claims to be patient, Actually hides anger and takes away the lives of embodied beings. Wearing the skin of beasts and clothes of tree leaves, That yaksha, with his cunning, is an ascetic practitioner. There is a fire of anger, which is the cause of suffering for beings. You two have not been trusted by the patient beings, How is this not meaningful for you, the nature of Dharma? It will become an object of laughter for me. Therefore, leave this abode of our water!" Thus he said. When Dārdār saw that water serpent speaking harshly for no reason, the wise one with a naturally pure mind said to himself: "The words of the holy ones threaten with the enemy of words and are full of power, For a long time, what has been seen is fear, like the relatives and merits of the holy ones."

Abandoned. Having seen nakedly like that, because the discipline has declined, therefore, the non-holy beings think that the mistress of the holy mind dwells with shame. Then, the arrows of harsh words shot from the bow of the evil being of that great incarnation are unbearable, and the nearby Dada, moved by anger, moves around, biting the lower lip with the tips of consciousness, and says to Dada: Brother, why tolerate the insult of this great snake? Because it attacks us so particularly every day for no reason. This is not the purchase of its water dwelling. Therefore, what is the use of saying so much? First of all, this cunning person is a momentary word, the path related to Dharma declines, and he harbors resentment for no reason. Like the spread of lightning, the yellow poisonous fire should subdue and send all the great snake gatherings to be harmed. The Bodhisattva said: It is permissible to curse in the heart for this one who has suffering. Because only patience is beautiful. Be patient with the strong and the weak, and what to do with the sinful? The true patient, the saints, that is the place to go, obviously speaking. The fire of meaningless anger burns, speaking harsh words, medicine is not a slight response, there is no other for evil beings, therefore speak harsh words. For no reason, this also, has won with the identity of the name, the foolish mind of the non-holy beings, meaninglessly creates sins, cursing me, evil beings. Therefore, there should be love for that, which is what the wise should do. Therefore, be close to such a mind. Others stand up completely close to kill. To the undisciplined enemy, one's own exhaustion, compassion is beautiful to the learned. Then, the nearby Dada bowed with respectful palms, and said to the Bodhisattva: The words of the great beings who show benefit nearby should not be possessed, saying this, with the empowerment of the water of patience, completely pacifying his fire of anger. The good beings made a great dwelling.

Therefore, those who can individually prevent the untamed three realms, whose merits are definitely related, and who are ashamed, should each encourage beings to do good. The great serpent, too, because of its familiarity with his patience, when it heard the words of the Bodhisattva's teachings on taming, it regretted again, hated without reason, was definitely related to us, and spoke very harsh words to us every day, but this great being did not have a harsh thought in his mind even a little. Therefore, one should think, "Alas! How rare!" and look at the Bodhisattva as one would look at a guru, and come close to him, ask for forgiveness, and say many words like these: "I have repeatedly committed great sins, please do not let your mind change, you are for taming those who have confidence, the Great Sage also became a serpent. Where is this serpent frightening? Where is the mind extremely peaceful? After turning around, hatred has been abandoned, and the king of birds also makes offerings to you." Thus, the great serpent stopped its harsh words, followed the Bodhisattva's taming, returned to its own abode, and held onto its good nature. Thus, that Bhagavan, abiding in the conduct of Bodhi, even though he lived in the place of birth of a serpent, because he was accustomed to patience, he could also turn those with violent minds into good ones, thus deciding, one should become completely familiar with patience. The birth story of Darda, that is the first birth story. Without diligence, the fruit of desire, for the sake of going, even the smallest is not obtained. Thus, without counting the hardships, those with great fortune should strive diligently. Thus it was heard, in a certain place, the undefiled water flows, the rows of willows make the lines of the riverbank turn green, following the group of Karandakas, the mouths of the moving fish are spread throughout, like extremely stretched clothes, connected to the difficult riverbank, connected to the side of the mountain rock where the water flows everywhere.
