Here, like the eye is an obstacle, it is the supreme joy of having form, from the heat of fire, the suffering of beings with attachment is melted away. Then, seeing the group of erected feathers held on the head, the supreme flock of peacocks is moving in the sky from afar. The peacocks utter gentle sounds and gentle words. The erected feathers, joined together, make a sound and come to greet them. Then, they went to the peacock, and the protector of the earth welcomed them from the wrong path, like a friend with virtues, obtaining all that is desired. The snow mountain reveals great joy everywhere, and the snow vultures that have flown excessively raise their fluff on the grass. The Bodhisattva also comes completely, and because he has been separated from the peacock flock for a long time, he wants to meet them all, so he embraces them with his wings, and they all sit down panting. Thus, the Bhagavan who sees the path himself, when he became a Bodhisattva, even gave up his life to completely protect sentient beings. Thinking thus, you should respect the discipline that illuminates the door of the happy realm and becomes a lamp. This is also the prophecy made by the Bhagavan in this life story. The queen, the woman of illusion, is, Shariputra is the protector of people, the lord of peacocks is my abode, and the peacocks are the Shravakas. The story of the peacock's birth is the second story of birth. With my completely pure discipline, how can one seek the benefit of others in all realms? After dwelling well in pure discipline, wouldn't the wise be happy because of this? Thus it was heard that all the great ministers were extremely respectful, the senses were completely victorious, King Brahma Dana, like the lord of deer, suppressed others, giving fearlessness to the deer, and the lords of deer mostly lived at the entrance of mountain caves, and the teeth of the deer cut off the sprouts of Kusha grass, In the deer forest where the cool and gentle wind, touched by the water of the Varana River, blows the pollen of the trees, the life of a body completely tormented by asceticism.

Eating the leaves and fruits of trees that fall by themselves, embracing with reverence and motherly love, the Bodhisattva with compassion for all beings, became the teacher of five hundred ascetics. Possessing complete light, free from the darkness, like a constellation surrounding the chief of disciples, adorned with limbs covered in black antelope skin, beautiful like a tree dwelling purified by the cool rays of the rabbit. First, having completely conquered the five obscurations with wisdom, like the sun with immaculate light dispelling the darkness, for the sake of peace, like extremely fragrant lotuses, skillfully and diligently taught the disciples. He clarified the attachment to great ugliness, for those whose hearts were burning with the fire of hatred, he spoke of love, for the deluded, he fully revealed wisdom, the eloquent one spoke of various and diverse teachings. Mounting the banner of lofty diligence, riding the chariot of discipline, with the sharp edge of wisdom cutting down the host of the enemy of obscurations, the steadfast one with the mind contemplating the kingdom of Nirvana, caused the minds of the demons to be disturbed and tremble all over. In that forest of asceticism, due to association with ascetics, even those naturally fierce of mind, like embodiments of compassion, snakes and deer dwelled together in harmony. Peacocks no longer chased after snakes, the deer king walked with the deer like a friend. Even for a moment, the branch snatched from the monkey's hand would not cause the Muni to be angry for the sake of beings. Then, a certain son of an ascetic, his body extremely emaciated by asceticism, became increasingly weakened by illness each day. That great sage saw with his divine eye that his asceticism was for the sake of obtaining kingship. Then, that great being approached him and asked, 'How is your illness?'

Asked. He also said to him: Teacher, a very strong wind is harming my body. The Bodhisattva said: Roots and fruits that are easy to obtain from the ascetic forest and are naturally dry cannot prevent the violent agitation of the wind. Alas, named difficulty, after saying this, the great sage manifested as a great Garuda by his power and came to the son of the ascetic. Then, that great Garuda aimed at the pond. Wonderfully followed by a row of deer cubs. Make juice with the meat of this fat deer. Drink to eliminate the wind, said the ascetic. The disciple heard the ascetic's words. Like this, bowing, with a ashamed face, he said: Khenpo, what is the difference between the asceticism we practice and the so-called harming sentient beings? The Dharma of non-harm is supreme, Thoughts arising from the path of non-dharma are all wrong. Therefore, how can I kill livestock? Khenpo, what are you saying? The Bodhisattva said: Do not harm the living side, You do not eat meat, you will not get meat. You do not need meat juice, This disease will become more severe. For the sake of one's own life, It is not desirable to kill this only livestock with compassion. When you become the lord of men in the future, Then you will kill deer and livestock. In the forest with many deer, manage with herds, The shaft of the arrow enters the edge of the ear. Pierce with arrows that take away deer, At that time, how will the compassionate one see everything? Or, for the time being, leave aside the harm to livestock, deer, and pigs, etc. The joy arising from the mutual collision of teeth and horns is mixed with garlands of flowers for burning sacrifices, and those who are bound to be pierced by arrows, iron rods, sticks, and goads, are men of battle with universal disturbance. Having killed the master.
