Furthermore, the light clouds are completely abandoned by the unattached prostitutes, like lovers whose brief radiance has faded. The cool rays that distinguish the face of night are also completely abandoned by the light that arises at dawn, because nothing remains or exists for long, but separates from each other. Thinking this, he said to those who are single-mindedly devoted to the Dharma: 'I should be thoroughly weary of your place.' The herd of deer also gathered and saw the Bodhisattva entering their field of vision, and like those who have lost their father, their hearts were exhausted by the sting of sorrow, and they scattered into the forest. The Bodhisattva also arrived at a slaughterhouse, where the bones of deer, pigs, buffaloes, and sheep were piled high, making a terrifying noise, and swarms of bees covered the flesh and tendons, and butchers with sharp knives waited for the deer to come. Those in charge of the slaughter seized the leader of the herd and took him to present to the king. The king, with eyes like a deer, then said to the deer: 'You, the leader of this inexhaustible herd, why have you come yourself?' The Bodhisattva said: 'O King, a pregnant doe came to me for refuge, and I have come to fulfill her wish.' 'To see the child, to fulfill the desire of that greedy man, and to obtain great joy, I would rather have the Lord of Death hold a feast.' The doe also saw this deer coming for death, which caused me suffering, but it will not happen today. Therefore, please allow me to see the supreme king.' The butchers said: 'O King, why do you hesitate?' 'This heart of mine, bound by the armor of vast compassion, will not be pierced by the arrow of suffering.' Then, that king, that one skilled in accomplishing the good of others...

Thinking with a compassionate heart, to the Bodhisattva who seemed to have nearly attained the wondrous through wisdom, he said: "Well done, Lord of the Assembly! To accomplish the benefit of others, there is definitely a related mind. Those with the form of deer are the most excellent of beings. Striving to harm others, what is definitely related is: We are like snakes and deer. "Then, the Bodhisattva, knowing that the king was filled with remorse, while exhaling and experiencing happiness, spoke thus: "Having committed faults, having nearly gone for refuge, you have also abandoned anger and protected the enemy. Upon the deer who have no faults, how did you release your sharp arrows and speak? Even to those standing behind, you did not strike them on the battlefield. How did you strike the deer who were like those frightened and terrified? Increase is due to incorrect conceptualization. Please release the deer that have escaped. In the hellfire with radiating light, what will arise to burn and offer?" Then, that king, with a very joyful mind, had the Lord of the Assembly sit on a lion throne, and with reverence, sat on a lower seat, saying: "Ema! Please teach me the well-spoken Dharma that dispels the darkness of ignorance." He spoke with great earnestness. Then, the Bodhisattva, being gazed upon by the king and all his retinue, relied on that king and spoke thus: "Well-spoken words bring joy, but there is no pride of wealth. Accomplishing the benefit of others is a very skillful activity. Not satisfied with virtues, respecting those who possess virtues. This is the renown of the conduct of the great ones. Possessing a very bright and high splendor. Humans have two characteristics of humans: With reverence in their hearts, even if they decline, they are not impoverished; possessing shame, they clearly illuminate the noble path. Evil nature itself, its thoughts are filled with defilements. Not for meaningless fame of others, but cherishing compassion. For the purity of one's own mind, the wisdom that enters. The wise also have great affection for this. For those who behave like men. All actions are not for the benefit of others. All radiating light.

In the cloudless sky, Akasti himself performs water free from poison. The holy person emanates holy conduct, even remembrance creates miracles. When sentient beings come into sight, then like nectar it is scattered to the minds of beings. Whose future will not cut off the stream of water that benefits others? Whose eye of wisdom is free from darkness, both of them will awaken. Others themselves are of animal nature, with inferior minds for the task of benefiting others. For those who possess both indulgence and ignorance, day and night are the same. Revolving in samsara, are they always dwelling in great darkness? For the holy one, the accumulated fruit is very great, these are my two faults. Who abandons home and dwells manifestly in the forest practicing asceticism for the sake of goodness. To whomever, he is skilled in talking with the wise in solitude. Whose perfect bliss is like dwelling in one's own home, it is the enjoyment of those who seek meaning. In order to completely destroy darkness, whose mind is also clear, those two themselves are living. Who, even seeing the assembly, is also devoid of self-proclaimed wisdom. Like a written jewel, his existence is also certainly non-existent. Comforts gained with difficulty will also gradually be utterly destroyed again. From that destruction, a person will ignite the fire of thought and be completely burned. This suffering, with existence as its cause, creates connection, it is the root of a deceitful net. Those who are very happy, keep small desires in their hearts, but express them in words. The well-spoken words that cut off ignorance effortlessly give things. Without things, clear words become meaningless. Even a skilled craftsman cannot make the essence of splendor like the cloudless sky and indigo with iron, nor a rough bell with impurities. Therefore, the great king who knows the difference between merit and non-merit says that one should dwell relying on the holy path. Then, that king was satisfied by tasting the nectar of the Dharma's words.
