The Blessed One became one with tearful eyes. How amazing, how amazing, the lotus of my son, has been uprooted from the root by the master of my two fangs of death, so he said. White Ming said: Great King, sorrow is enough, enough. I grieve for myself. When he abandons the country, sees sentient beings consumed by old age and death, becomes disgusted, and goes to the forest of asceticism, he will become a Buddha. At that time, I will be close to death. Therefore, sorrow has filled my eyes with tears. After saying this, that great sage left, and gave the name Meaningful Accomplishment to the Bodhisattva. Not long after, he understood all knowledge from the masters. From the same clan, he took a woman named Fame Holder. He thought: How can my son not know the suffering of old age, sickness, and death? So, in the palace of King Śuddhodana, he had the Bodhisattva immersed in the midst of the consorts, constantly watching song and dance, and wholeheartedly enjoying pleasure. He also had Fame Holder give birth to a son named Rāhula. Once, he lived in gardens related to song and dance, suitable for the consorts. In order to go out, he made up his mind, rode in the best chariot granted by his father, and departed from all places, viewing the beautiful roads of Kapilavastu. In reality, just like arising renunciation, the ears and eyes were opened. The eyes were filled with joy, after hearing those things from the inner circle. In order to see those, he had a mind wanting to meet. Various activities of the city women will occur. Then, some people with incomplete makeup, adorned the center of their foreheads with wet auspicious marks. Lotuses were falling from their ears. One eye was standing with eye medicine applied. With a hand holding an eye stick, like a lotus, they said: Look at this young man walking like he has no limbs.
