Wherever the light of the jewels reached, like the respectful prostrations of companions, those (lights) emanating from the precious light of the toenails, the dust of the forest floor would surely turn green. The budding flowers would gradually grasp the branches with their hands at dawn. The tree women, working diligently, were shaken by the wind, their fingers touching the stamens again and again. Then, the ministers, focusing on the teachings in every way, returned with the retinue of the Smoke Woman and performed the enthronement ceremony for the eldest son of that king. That king also practiced intense asceticism, and through the instructions of the Bodhisattva (bodhisattva, Devanagari: बोधिसत्त्व, Roman transliteration: bodhisattva, meaning: enlightenment being), gradually attained meditative states, and ultimately attained supreme peace and tranquility, diligently restraining his senses for the sake of virtue. Thus, that protector followed the practice of enlightenment, and for the sake of peace, completely rescued many who were deeply mired in the swamp of desire. Thus, for that worthy Thuba, who demonstrates the benefit of others, may you, who rely and are respectful, surely come for the sake of virtue! The Jataka tale of the Spotted One, which is the fourth Jataka tale. The great beings who benefit the three realms also abandon the happiness of the gods, because the suffering of others is too heavy, and the hearts of the compassionate ones are pained by it. Thus it was heard that the Bodhisattva, having realized all the perfections, being close to enlightenment, illuminating the limbs with his own light, was born in the Tushita heaven at one time. That great being also clearly revealed the supreme path to the gods residing there with words that did not deviate from the Dharma, and thought thus: In the age of perfection, the people of the world are single-mindedly devoted to the Dharma and enter the good path happily; but in this age of strife, beings dominated by arrogance, pride, desire, hatred, and ignorance, are ignorant of the Dharma of happiness, fall into evil destinies, and are dominated by others. Therefore, I should realize enlightenment and be liberated from samsara, so it is said.

O! In the central region, there are also sentient beings with completely pure faith. Among them, this one named Śuddhodana is the lord of the people in the city of Kapilavastu, therefore, his conduct is very sacred, even surpassing the great ascetics. Therefore, he contemplated that this supreme queen, Māyādevī, would take birth from all births. At night, while sleeping, in a dream, an intoxicated elephant, white and heavy like a snow mountain, with six tusks, a face soaked in fragrance, transformed into an image with two tusks, and entered the womb of the queen of the lord of the earth, Śuddhodana, in order to end the suffering of sentient beings. After that, the great Queen Māyādevī told the king about her dream: O god, today I dreamed of an elephant king, white as autumn clouds, with six tusks, opening its right abdomen and entering my womb. Then, the king told the dream to the twice-born (Brahmins) who knew the result of the dream. Those Brahmins also said to him: Great king, your son will become a Chakravartin. The king was very happy, treated those twice-born with respect, and then dismissed them. The queen, together with the queen's inner circle, after receiving permission, went together to the Lumbini Garden. Holding flowers in their hands, grasping all the branches, the queen's abdomen quickly split open, and the Bodhisattvas were about to be born. Then, at the time of birth, he was as white as a golden yoke, and his eyes were gradually supported by thousands of pillars. Accompanied by clusters of Mandarava flowers, a stream of immaculate water descended from the sky and fell on the head of that one (Bodhisattva). The sole protector of sentient beings, held by the powerful one, steadily and gradually took seven steps on the ground, and calmly spoke this very miraculous word: I am the last birth, in order to eliminate all darkness. Then, the Blessed One burned like a cool, non-hot ray of light, the light of the self-existent one illuminated the wealthy mother, like the sun.

The blazing lights of the pure, indivisible, terrifying darkness became terrifying to the beings in hell. The great Lord of Dharma (King Śuddhodana) was delighted as the gods beat drums in the middle of the sky, saying, 'This is the empowerment!' The queen, riding in a palanquin, took the Bodhisattva and went to her own home. Thereafter, Śuddhodana, with a very wondrous mind, released all the prisoners from the prison. Throughout the city of Kapilavastu, flags and banners were hung, and the roads of various shops were sprinkled with fragrant perfume water. Flowers were spread out, and the sides of the roads were made beautiful. The shoulder side covered with a mixed deer skin. The assembly of fire-like radiant hair holds everything together. For non-white deeds, the manifest is called non-white. The lord of the earth heard this from the beings who came from the sky. Then, the king awoke and, knowing that the great hermit was entering the understanding of the Bodhisattva's birth, spoke frankly: With offerings such as abundant Argha (Tibetan: ཨརྒྷ,Sanskrit Devanagari: अर्घ,Sanskrit Romanization: argha,Literal Chinese meaning: water) and other gifts, he was honored and served. After asking about his well-being and showing the Bodhisattva in his mother's lap, he said, 'Bhagavan, please see whether this son of mine will live long or not.' Then, Kāladewala (Tibetan: དཀར་མིན་,Sanskrit Devanagari: कालदेवल,Sanskrit Romanization: kāladewala,Literal Chinese meaning: Time God) took the Bodhisattva and, seeing him, thought like this: Just as all the clear signs adorn him like ornaments, so too, to eliminate the suffering of beings, the Buddha will appear. When this Buddha appears, I will die. If I can hear the Dharma from him, then all sentient beings will benefit. The great hermit, with a pure mind, thinking like this, his eyes, the tips of his eyelids drooping, shed smoky tears. Then, Śuddhodana, seeing Kāladewala (Tibetan: དཀར་མིན་,Sanskrit Devanagari: कालदेवल,Sanskrit Romanization: kāladewala,Literal Chinese meaning: Time God) with tears in his eyes, spoke with agitation: 'Without a doubt, this person is short-lived, and then'
