Sa! On top of that, rains of flowers fell abundantly. Then, near the cave with the mane, the dakini placed the monkey cubs. With claws gripping the body, unmoving, eyes closed in fear. Gradually approaching the Bodhisattva, that supreme Garuda awakened and remained from all directions. With a mind of taming, (the Garuda) stayed in front of him, and with reverence, praised and spoke these words: Compassionate one, where is this high place of yours? Where is your terrifying lion? What special reason makes you stay so long? Who could become your tamed beast like me? Your object of wisdom, whose mind is equal to pleasure and pain, that treasure of life, I sincerely redeem its decay. If there were no one like you, the bridge of the holy ones would collapse, and in the deep sea of suffering, beings would drown. Your Dharma teachings, this virtue is worth listening to, even to enemies, I will begin to show love from now on. I would like to ask you, what kind of state do you wish to attain through this asceticism? The Bodhisattva said: In order to liberate beings from the ocean of existence, who are tormented by the beginningless cycle of existence, afflicted by the suffering of extreme harm, and troubled by decay, I practice to become a Tathagata. The Garuda said: Possessing great wisdom, it is not difficult for you to attain such a state of Buddhahood, but to obtain profound and difficult to obtain deeds, one needs to be a consumer and a discriminator. Entering the treatises, being of a nature that is wise and fond of benefiting others. May we, who can penetrate the existence of the Tathagatas, understand from the holy ones. May we, who can sever the connection of ignorance, meet you in life after life. Near the cave, I placed the monkey cubs, now I am more excellent than that, because I have abandoned them, you should (be pleased). The Bodhisattva said: Alas! You are so wise, how did you know my secret?

Eulogy! Although the enlightened ones clarify with words, the coarse ones do not grasp it. For the treatises on minute objects, in meaningless realms, wisdom becomes futile. For those who cannot even look at the door of a house, what is the use even if it appears? For a person with blurred vision, how can they see a tiny needle hole? Even if there is a close teacher, one cannot abandon a careless and unwise child. Even if guided repeatedly, a dog's tail will still be crooked. The excellent treatises point out the path, but those who are not unwise will not go astray. Just as a clear and beautiful mind pervades the whole body, the two drinking organs (eyes) are bright and radiant. These excellent words do not change the wise. Even a well-guarded stomach cannot withstand minor damage. Harmful fruits are very harmful to beings, but for the non-virtuous, they bring increase and power. Just as a snake hidden in a bamboo tube produces extremely terrible poison. The sounds of the senses cause fainting and carelessness, causing beings to fall into meaningless desires. Like a moth jumping into a flame, attracted by beautiful colors. For the foolish who are attached to the realm of the senses, it causes them to fall from their own path of Dharma. Just as loosening the bonds and blocking the root of the navel cord, a tree bears fruit from its mature top. If by nature it is a highly harmful poisonous tree, snakes and weapon fires will not arise. Then, with whom can one compare the deceitful and sharp-minded non-virtuous? Speaking harshly and warmly with anger for no reason, the foolish one frowns with anger, making the eyes uncoordinated. Like a terrifying stomach born from multiple holes, it is even more terrifying to an anthill. The center of a bad rock is a reliance, for the sake of harming others. The words that appear together are like various swords. A foolish and shameless person, who would do it? Where would they go?

Do not create suffering by transforming. Those evil ones who hold the armor of deceit for a long time, Difficult to conceal, going to the center of the army of the senses, Generating crucial suffering, merciless to the sacred, causing them to fall to the ground like the edge of a sword. Gentle demeanor and pleasing speech, The wise do not trust the unholy. Even if the appearance is beautiful, the body is attractive, and the voice is gentle, Why wouldn't peacocks and snakes devour other beings? If you want to nourish the inhabitants of the city of the mind, For a long time or associate with wise women, Therefore, in the place where the water source of the wise arises, Plant the seeds of sacred virtues in yourself. Associating with the sacred for a long time, a pure mind, A person with self-nature will not associate with the unholy. The bee will never dwell on dead wood, Because it has a place where enchanting lotus flowers bloom. Having a bow and arrow but not shooting, How can all the joys of youth arise? Being cast far away by inferior qualities. Likewise, with excellent wisdom, completely destroy the enemy, Extremely pure, not to be plundered, after many modifications, Adorned with virtues, worshiped by noble beings. Isn't it born into humanity by approaching from all aspects? Marvel at the supreme ornaments of the gods. Extremely desiring happiness, Or virtues arise. Therefore, abandoning the unholy, One should rely on a virtuous friend. Associating with non-saints, Saints are never for happiness. Like bathing with water at the entrance, Besides white, there are also white clothes. Associating with the wise, one can penetrate ignorance and completely destroy the sins of beings. The powerful can also abandon the nature of defilement and focus on goodness. Anyone who is tormented by thirst, even if unwilling to drink, can in an instant, The clouds, with the water in their bellies, make the master's water salty. Therefore, the Bodhisattva said to that bird, "May you depart in peace." The great being circled it, flew to the center of the sky, circled around, with claws and beaks visibly reddened with blood.
