Having summoned the virtuous one, and having made him sit down, then began to speak and intervened in the deception of the rotating chief. The rotating chief reported: O deity, what should be done with this blameless and deathless mind that is being scolded? For a shameless and faultless person, those who are extremely upright will rejoice and praise. The mind filled with meaningless afflictions, that person will build a bridge where there is no water. The king said: Great captain, then please answer this question. The virtuous one reported: We should examine the object of trade, O great king, you possess beautiful wisdom. This trading item of the rotating chief, by nature, has other flaws. How can this item become beautiful and restore its original luster? Therefore, I have never seen her second body. Seeing that she has obtained other appearances, I give her decorations, those decorations are all made by me. As long as it is not a golden pot, no matter how fiercely the fire burns, it will become very bright. Once it is burned, devoured, and burned, the dirt will definitely appear. People are also the same, only when they approach pleasant things, will they become charming. When people indulge in pleasure, life will pass quickly, like a withering flower. When the flower blooms and is closely connected with dirt, the bee will not hesitate to abandon its stamen. Most things will gradually age, therefore, there is almost nothing truly pleasing in this world. Aging makes the appearance ugly, takes away the comfort of the eyes, and desire will also harm the strength of the strong. Life is suppressed and eventually becomes useless. Like kingship, food, and light, all things are fleeting. Therefore, being hit by the arrows of suffering from aging, disease, death, and change, the stability of the mind will be shaken. The so-called woman is just a house piled up with bones, with naturally pure eyes. Seeing her, no matter what advantages you see, will make the child generate desire. Alas, the so-called beautiful woman, the ignorant are completely confused. This chain of bones, the wise despise it. Women are truly delightful.

It also became like that. Having recognized the faults in this way, the wise ones avoided them from afar. Like the Malati tree being loathed by dogs. Thereafter, that king praised the Bodhisattva with "Good, good" and sat down. That rotating hostess also became completely detached from the pride of youth and beauty, becoming very peaceful and single-minded. That assembly of people also entered and abided in the very nature of causing the reversal of carelessness, becoming the cause of discipline. The Bodhisattva also returned to being a rock of trees. Therefore, even when the Bhagavan abides in the state of individual beings, he turns back the fire of attachment by the very nature of being free from desire, and makes beings abide in the ritual of extreme peace. Having contemplated in this way, it is appropriate to generate supreme faith in the Buddha Bhagavan. The Jataka tale of the merchant leader's good conduct, which is the first Jataka tale. The wise protect even a single blade of grass; when others prevent it, they do so with great effort. What need is there to mention saving the lives of beings for those who are masters of effortless wisdom? Thus it was heard: like a polished silver pillar, drops falling from the tip of a needle, completely worn out; upon the whiteness like a heap of pearl powder, a group of hunters following the footprints of wild yaks; the bellies of various mountains uneven, struck by the horns of the great powerful bull; the mountain crevices made green by many forests of cuckoos, sal trees, sandalwood trees, nameiru trees, and lotuses; the soil of the roots washed away by the rapidly flowing water falling from the mountains; at night, great blazing medicinal herbs resembling thousands of lamps lit; vidyadhara men and women enjoying themselves, making the space between the groves of trees fragrant at the edge of the lake; in some places, terrifying and violently shaking beds making rustling sounds, adorned by the strength of maned beasts that had fallen apart; and the footprints left by wild animals, pulling up grass by the roots.
