That vicious fellow, holding the form of a Brahmin, also approached the great hero like a flesh-eater, saying: I have heard that you are very fond of doing good deeds, and that you are a giver of wealth to those with special knowledge. Therefore, I have come near, carried by good words, to you who possess knowledge. The bees are circling around, the ears of rice that work together are blooming, having abandoned all kinds of distractions, they are truly going, desiring to drink the mad water of the toothed ones. There, I am sure to see the special qualities. Then, the Bodhisattva, seeing that Brahmin who was offering good words as a gift, was overjoyed, his hairs stood on end, and with a radiant appearance, he stood up and came forward, saying: We are buying the jewels of good words from you, the Brahmin who sells the jewels of good words. Then, he had that Brahmin sit on his great seat, and he himself sat on the ground. Then, the friends who desired the Dharma, with wonder, said this: "Hearing the good words, your face will be filled with smiles; after hearing, your eyes will be filled with tears, and the glory of joy will also flow. The power of cutting off limbs causes the fragrant lotus to slowly bloom all around; having obtained the moonlight that dispels the darkness, the supreme beauty will flourish." Then, those who desired the Dharma, with great reverence, saw that Brahmin and said to those disciples who desired to listen: The teacher should expound. Then, that sinful one said: If, for the sake of desiring the jewel of good words, you are able to jump into the great pit filled with smokeless fire, then I will give you this unprecedented and captivating good word. Then, the Bodhisattva, with a mind of vast benefit for sentient beings, said this: Great Brahmin, not considering one's own suffering, this is not difficult for those like us, but, good words

为了众生，我如从圣者处，如田地结果般，完全积聚了功德。 我将进入充满火焰的深坑，这个人将以何种方式来抓住我呢？ 婆罗门说：这个善说应该让所有的人都听到，然后你自己跳入火坑吧！ 菩提萨埵说：如导师所愿，我将照做。 分别念的海洋极其广阔，长久以来难以逾越，却未曾跨越。 愚痴的巨大黑暗被消除后，众生如何才能获得菩提之宝呢？ 因此，我渴望这个善说，将如水般进入焚烧祭品之处。 对于我这个被佛法之语所夺的心灵来说，即使拿着焚烧的祭品也不会感到痛苦。 听到这些话后，他们挖掘了一个大坑，并让人在其中点燃火焰。 从其他房屋出来后，就在那一瞬间，婆罗门和罗刹一起，以大智慧决定跳入燃烧的焚烧祭品中。 他的朋友们眼中充满了泪水，紧紧地拥抱着他，阻止了他。 然后，渴望佛法的朋友们和亲戚们，眼中充满了痛苦的泪水，带着哭声说道： 这个非常好的说法有什么用呢？不顾该做和不该做的事，从无垢的种姓中出生，像星辰之主的光芒一样清净，轻视这难以获得的、作为名声之所依的人身，也让亲戚们承受极大的痛苦，想要完全舍弃自己。 那么，请阻止这走向歧途的心吧！请你暂时看看吧！ 那些被称为总是非常令人愉悦的人，蜜蜂也给予欲望之果的朋友们，那些生命不顾我的安乐而购买我的人，为什么说这是非常好的说法，非常好的说法呢？ 然后菩提

For the sake of beings, I have completely accumulated merit, like a field bearing fruit from a noble person. I am going into a great pit filled with fire, how will this person hold me? The Brahmin said: This well-spoken word should be heard by all the people, and then you yourself should jump into the fire pit! The Bodhisattva said: As the teacher wishes, I will do so. The ocean of conceptualization is extremely vast, difficult to cross for a long time, yet it has not been crossed. How can beings obtain the jewel of enlightenment after the great darkness of ignorance is eliminated? Therefore, desiring this well-spoken word, I will enter the place of burning offerings like water. For me, whose mind is stolen by the words of Dharma, even holding the burning offerings will not cause suffering. After hearing these words, they dug a large pit and had people light a fire in it. Coming out from other houses, at that moment, the Brahmin and Rakshasa together, with great wisdom, decided to jump into the burning offering. His friends, with eyes full of tears, hugged him tightly and stopped him. Then, the friends and relatives who desired the Dharma, with eyes full of painful tears, said with a cry: What is the use of this very good saying? Disregarding what should and should not be done, born from a stainless lineage, pure like the rays of the lord of stars, despising this hard-to-obtain human body, which is the basis of fame, and also making relatives suffer greatly, wanting to completely abandon oneself. Then, please stop this mind that is going astray! Please take a look for a moment! Those who are called always very pleasant people, the friends who even bees give the fruit of desire, those lives who buy me regardless of my happiness, why do you say this is a very good saying, a very good saying?
