是因为争斗等很多的原因。像这样对佛法用心，住在家里就不会感到快乐。为了说明因为具有智慧，所以住在家里不会感到快乐。因为知道与国王和盗贼等五者共同拥有，并且完全知道不知满足，而且知道是众多过患的处所。因为心智和智慧非常明亮，所以住在家里不会感到快乐。所谓舍弃在家人的装束，怎样舍弃在家人的装束呢？因为剃掉了头发和胡须，并且更换了衣服的颜色，穿上了尸布的颜色。怎样获得出家的装束呢？因为安住在出家戒律的光辉中。而且知道不能住在苦行的森林中。所谓极其困难，是因为难以行走。提到坟墓和空旷的地方，是为了说明住所靠近村庄。这也有两种，即慈爱和不慈爱的差别。山是充满愤怒的野兽的地方。提到这两者是为了说明远离村庄。像这样的住所，对于相同和不同的差别进行禅思，所以说了这个偈颂。为了说明没有朋友，因此通过极其困难的方式进行禅思。这里说明了是独自一人，没有第二个人居住。所谓妇女们甚至不存在，这说明即使不禅思，也不允许与妇女接触居住和一同交往。像这样趋向死亡的地方，两者都走向令人恐惧的地方，以及痛苦地表明有朋友相助，意思是自己痛苦，对方也不会高兴。所谓能够存在，就是指生存。所谓春季来临等，说明了可以用眼、耳、鼻、舌、身五根来享用的森林。所谓树叶格外美丽，这说明可以用眼睛来享受。许多蜜蜂发出声音嘀

It is because there are many reasons such as strife. Thus, focusing on the Dharma, one would not feel happy staying at home. To explain that because one possesses wisdom, one does not feel happy staying at home. Because one knows that one shares possessions with five entities such as kings and thieves, and one fully knows the lack of contentment, and also knows that it is a place of numerous faults. Because the mind and wisdom are very clear, one does not feel happy staying at home. As for abandoning the attire of a householder, how does one abandon the attire of a householder? Because one has shaved off the hair and beard, and has changed the color of the clothes, wearing the color of a shroud. How does one obtain the attire of a renunciate? Because one abides in the splendor of the vows of renunciation. And also knowing that one cannot dwell in the forest of asceticism. The term 'extremely difficult' means that it is difficult to traverse. Mentioning the cemetery and empty places is to indicate that the dwelling is close to the village. This is also of two kinds, namely the difference between loving and unloving. The mountains are places filled with angry wild animals. Mentioning these two is to indicate that it is far from the village. In such a place, contemplating the similarities and differences, therefore this verse is spoken. To show that without friends, one meditates through extremely difficult means. Here it is shown that one dwells alone, without a second person. The statement 'women are not even present' indicates that even if one does not meditate, it is not permissible to be in contact with women, to live together, or to associate with them. Such a place that is inclined towards death, both going to a terrifying place, and the suffering of showing that there is a friend to help, means that oneself is suffering and the other will not be happy either. The term 'being able to exist' refers to survival. The phrase 'when the spring season arrives' and so on, indicates the forest that can be enjoyed by the five senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. The fragrant scent of various flowers, etc., indicates that it can be enjoyed by the senses of the nose and body. The bouquets of various flowers are very beautiful; these two verses indicate the meaning of the preceding phrases. If there are many cunning and plundering people, cunning refers to those who are not tamed, so women, etc., are also not tamed. Plundering refers to wanting to rob. This secluded place indicates that it is impossible to resist. Meager practice indicates that one has no ability. Being with the Dharma means despising you and your Dharma. These indicate the cause of having no fear in this life and the next. This verse, "This secluded place is asceticism," refers to that woman because she lives in the forest. If anger arises, this verse indicates that it is not beneficial even to yourself; therefore, it is not beneficial to both this life and the next, and one should not generate anger. Why? Because of mental confusion, this indicates that it is contrary to the Dharma; because it is contrary to the Dharma, it is not beneficial to the next life. Because it is contrary to the Dharma, fame will also disappear, which indicates that it is not beneficial to this life either. Therefore, because it is not beneficial to you and her. Village means among the crowd. If neither of these faults exists, then why should an ascetic approach a woman? This is to show that it is in accordance with oneself.
