The so-called "conduct of pleasing beings" shows the perfection of bodily actions. The so-called "knowing to have renounced from a noble lineage" is understood through the distinctions of lineage as previously stated, such as "royal lineage, wealthy lineage," and so on. The so-called "knowing to have renounced" is also what was previously stated, to be understood as having renounced through the sequence of "both parents having passed away," and so on. Regarding "from the qualities of lineage and form," the qualities of lineage are those previously mentioned. The qualities of form are also described as before, expressed by the phrase "a beautiful body, pleasing to the eyes of beings." The so-called "good earth" is like moonlight falling on a white-plastered rooftop. The so-called "at this age, without regard for lineage, renouncing in this way" means that one should renounce after having children and when old age has set in. The so-called "gone" means changed by going, therefore, it is through this that one will attain the Dharma. The so-called "why" means because of other reasons. The so-called "relying on others and begging," and "wearing ragged clothes, in a remote place, the body is abandoned," these show being separated from alms and dwelling, which makes the fruit of the perfection of generosity nonexistent. The so-called "poor body" and "despised by all beings like a wicked person" show that the fruit of the perfection of discipline, even if one possesses perfect wealth such as lineage, is still despised, because of being separated from these three. The so-called "separated from relatives" and "separated from friends" show that the fruit of the perfection of patience is being separated from servants and retinue. The so-called "please make the thought in the mind of the supreme son accomplished," then, whose thought is accomplished? It is the one who has become a poor body, like a place of reliance, the place of reliance being a step. What is done through solitude is the happiness of solitude. There are two kinds of solitude: bodily solitude and mental solitude. Among these, bodily solitude is non-duality.

It is abiding. Mental solitude is abandoning mental distraction. The bliss of dwelling in solitude is indeed the taste of nectar, because whatever is completely subdued by it, whatever is in the mind, is that the mind is accustomed to the taste of the nectar of the bliss of dwelling in solitude, because its bliss satisfies body and mind. To be devoted to that heart is to be devoted to the bliss of dwelling in solitude. Knowing the difference between dwelling in a house and dwelling in a forest means that the very nature of dwelling in a house is to see faults manifestly. Dwelling in a forest is also because one's own nature sees virtues manifestly. Therefore, those who do not know the difference between forest and house should not speak, nor should they listen here, because both must be recognized. A house like a prison is a house that has become a prison, because it causes one to fall into the lower realms. The rich are mostly suffering together. The other part, the poor, are also like that. Being completely deluded in joy is being deluded by joy, meaning that one is perversely clinging to happiness in suffering. The ripening of the fruit of sin means that in previous lives, due to one's own habits, the fruit of perversely clinging to happiness in suffering ripens. What is said here to be feasible, if one despises the Dharma in this way, it is not so. It is for measuring the opposition to the Dharma, because it is contrary to the Dharma and destroys all aspects. Because there are so many things to do, it means that one thinks that home is happiness, and because one does not give up home, even if one wants to practice Dharma, if one does not give up home, it will change, how can one not be able to practice Dharma? This is because one wants to show that attachment to the happiness of home is suffering. Because there are so many things to do, this is what is being taught. Taking the measurement of the opposition to the Dharma as a premise, if one farms at home, etc., are four verses. What is the Dharma that is opposed to the Dharma? That is, what is known to be incompatible with it. If one farms at home, that is the verse.
