The so-called "such things" refers to good and non-good deeds. The so-called "although not obscured" is because they have become accustomed to it, just as they appear in a dream. The so-called "loving-kindness" shows the perfection of intention. The so-called "giving, gentle speech, beneficial conduct, etc., in order to greatly benefit" shows the perfection of action. Here, how do the four objects of gathering become the meaning of benefiting? Unanimously causing oneself and others to engage in benefiting is the meaning of these gatherings. Here, only benefiting others and acting on one's own is the main thing. Mentioning "sequence" means that one should first give to the beings to be tamed. Then, with gentle words, truly show and truly praise. After that, for those who have entered, use beneficial conduct to allow them to hold on to it wherever they are, and become their friends. This is the sequence of the objects of gathering. Therefore, the benefit of the Bodhisattva is special. Skillful means is based on wisdom. The so-called "with reason" is based on diligence. These two show constant action and respectful action. The Dharma nature of fish is to eat fish. Because the fish are well protected, they are very prosperous and flourishing. Why? Because there is no harm. For example, when the lord of men protects by acting in accordance with the Dharma, it is like the subjects being unharmed. The so-called "one who has no merit"
