This is the method of the order. I think the principle of order is like this: Tigress, Rabbit, Śibi, Giving Flesh, Merchant, King Kośala, all liberate and do not suppress, Agastya and offering are made. In terms of the perfection of generosity, this is the first ten. There are three kinds of generosity. Bodhisattvas speak of the perfection of generosity, namely, the generosity of material things, the generosity of Dharma, and the generosity of fearlessness. Among them, in terms of the generosity of material things, there are eight Jataka stories. The other two show the generosity of Dharma and the generosity of fearlessness. There are also two kinds of generosity of material things, namely, internal generosity and external generosity. Starting from internal generosity, there are the first four. Starting from external generosity, there are the last four. Among them, there are also two kinds of objects of internal generosity, namely, body and life. Generosity is also for two purposes, namely, for complete enjoyment and for complete protection. The first Jataka story of the Tigress has these four aspects, so that Jataka story is shown first. Giving life is also, unless one dies, one cannot enjoy and give the body. Only because there is the generosity of the body, one can fully understand that by giving one's body, the tigress can enjoy it. There is also complete protection, so it is said in that Jataka story, so what should be protected by the body is: there is a life that is about to fall off a cliff, rather protect the tigress than kill the cubs, and even protect its cubs from the tigress. That is to say, therefore, what is protected by the body is, this is the generosity of the body. There is a life that is about to fall off a cliff, this is the generosity of life. Rather protect the tigress than kill the cubs, this is the generosity of complete enjoyment. Even protect its cubs from the tigress, this is the generosity of complete protection, because there are these four internal forms, so this Jataka story is mentioned first. The second

The Jataka of the Rabbit completely enjoys the giving of both the inner body and life, but it is not complete protection. Among them, "My body is burned by fire, to smell, today resides in the ascetic forest." This sentence is the giving of the inner body. "I have no wealth more precious than the body." This sentence is the giving of life. "People like us would not cut off the lives of others, what need is there to say to someone as extremely loving and steadfast as you?" After hearing this sentence, he himself entered the fire. Therefore, the giving of life is said to be the very giving that is completely enjoyed. "My body is burned by fire, to smell, today resides in the ascetic forest." This sentence means that there is no complete protection there, because no other method was found other than one's own death. Otters, jackals, and monkeys found food, so they first gave food. Now, the two Jatakas of King Shibi and King of Strength of Loving-kindness only show the giving of the body, not the giving of life. It is the very giving that is completely enjoyed, not the giving that is completely protected. There are also two types of giving of the body: giving with the distinction of faculties and giving without the distinction of faculties. Among them, in terms of giving with the distinction of faculties, in the Jataka of King Shibi, it is the giving of the eye. How can it be completely enjoyed? His eye is completely enjoyed because it focuses on the object and completely enjoys it. This is shown as: "Having lotus eyes, even with only one eye, the lord of the world can accomplish the deeds of the world." And "In any case, that eye dwells in his eye," and the sentence "Then open one eye." The faculty is not the subject of enjoying and eating, but it is completely enjoyed by relying on that faculty. Otherwise, it cannot be enjoyed, so it is the very focus on the object that enjoys. The King of Strength of Loving-kindness is also inner
