Also, because it is difficult to see the face (of the Buddha), because it is meaningless to grieve over the impossibility of seeing the face. "The wicked Brahmin is shameless!" This phrase is a revelation that follows what was not revealed, otherwise it would not only say Brahmin, nor would it bestow that phrase. "Without shoes, walking with feet!" This phrase refers to the suffering of the road. The suffering of that road also arises from three causes: the fatigue of the road is not relieved, the difference in circumstances, and being subject to others. "Without shoes, walking with feet!" This phrase reveals that the labor of the road is not relieved. "Very young, unable to bear the fatigue!" This phrase reveals the difference in circumstances. "Serving as his servant" This phrase reveals the lack of autonomy. Thus, in the case of completely unrelieved labor, the verse "Weary and exhausted by the road" is spoken. The first half of the first sentence begins with the fatigue of the road not relieving the labor. The second half reveals that the suffering of hunger and thirst that arises together cannot be relieved. "I want to make him firm!" The meaning of this verse is that although there is the power of separate thought. The son is a child, because there is no separate thought. For a while, I am suffering like this, to reveal this sentence, to reveal his suffering, the half verse "Alas!" is spoken. In revealing "wanting to make him firm," starting from "How does one want to make him firm?" it is the second half of the verse "The Dharma of the Noble Ones." "The arising of displeasure" is the arising of unpleasant things. What is that state of firmness, that is the way displeasure arises. "Calling again and again, but the two of them did not respond," means they did not hear, they called, but neither of them heard. Those two are the meaning of those. The verse "After playing tired" refers to the suffering of separation from not seeing (relatives) even in the state of survival. The fatigue arising from playing is playing fatigue. The sleep that arises from that is the sleep that arises from playing fatigue.

This verse, "I have come," is spoken in the context of conceptualizations at the time of death. Because those two are not dead, if they were seen killed, they would not make such a sound. Even without the sound of birds, death is possible, and this is based on conceptualizations. The verse "Torrential Stream" is the latter half. This does not have good omens; it is a bad omen. The joyful mind that is averted by bad omens, this heart is also averted from joy by bad omens. "Cracked" means leaking. "One should rejoice" means one should hear something joyful. "Specifically" means for the sake of manifest harm. "Alas, I have not been killed!" This means death. Because of exhaustion or death, one's self will certainly die, so it is said to be killed. "Because of fearing instability" means if one fears instability, one will die, which is the meaning of fear. Old age and poverty are being old and poor. The suffering of that itself is the suffering of being old and poor, meaning suffering because of that. This shows the meaning of compassion. "Brahmin" shows the field of merit. Or, being afflicted by the suffering of old age and poverty is suffering itself. "Brahmin" shows begging itself, because one lives by begging, therefore it is called Brahmin. "I have come" means without support, because one comes and uses this place where one cannot find it elsewhere. Because he begs from me, therefore he is without support, so one should understand this. If he does not care for his son, how will he care for you? He replied, "Do not grieve with sorrow." He said that. If that is the case, what should be done? He said, "The sorrow of the son pierces the heart," because it is like a sword. If one is completely tormented by sorrow, why give the son? Understanding the context of the words, he spoke the verse, "If he could be saved." "Fearing the son's death, that is worse than boiling the heart" means the suffering of the heart fearing the son's death. "Like this" means because
